Escape the bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and head straight to the countryside. Unlike standard big-bus tours, our Small Group van navigates the traffic faster, getting you to the site before the massive crowds arrive (for the morning slot). Watch the cityscape fade into rice paddies and rubber plantations. Your guide will provide an introduction to the Vietnam War (American War) context, setting the scene for what you are about to witness.
Ben Duoc tunnel complex
Upon arrival, watch a short documentary (a relic from the war era) before heading into the jungle. - Discover how a 200km underground web was built using simple tools. - See the ingenious and terrifying traps used during the conflict. - Experience the claustrophobic reality of tunnel life by crawling through a safe section of the tunnel (widened for visitors). Note: Crawling is optional; you can walk above ground if you prefer. For those interested in military history, there is an opportunity to fire real weapons (AK-47 or M16) at the National Defense Sports Shooting Range (bullets are at your own expense). Before leaving, sit down to taste boiled tapioca with sesame salt and hot pandan tea—the actual diet that sustained the Viet Cong fighters in the tunnels.

4.00Easily booked in. Guide Quang contacted me a short time after confirmation of booking. Small group of 9 people. Was a decent drive to area, but transport was in an air conditioned van which was great. Tunnels were great, options to go in or watch, tried some of their food. Quang the guide spoke great English, explained a lot on the drive which kept us entertained. Happy and easy to ask questions. Would recommend.
