This is the best adventure tour in all Puerto Rico as it completely avoids the tourist traps of the island & focuses exclusively on amazing places known only to locals. The 2 stops on this tour: Cueva del Indio & Charco Azul Canyon are both amazing yet completely different from one another. Cueva del Indio (Indian Cave) is a Seaside Cave that we go inside but to get there we have to walk over the breathtaking 7 arches rock formations. The views of the island and the sea from this point is something to wander at. Then we go into the cave itself which immediately transports you into the past, way before the era of Colombus. The Tainos carved the entire walls of the cave and we get to see it up close. Charco Azul is perhaps even more amazing. These are river caves, formed by the passage of a river beating against the stone for millions of years. We swim thru caves, hike and cliff jump at the end (optional). The entire day is filled with fun and much adventure.

Cueva Del Indio
After we arrive in Arecibo we will ascend up the Famous 7 arches, where we will see gorgeous views, some of the best in the entire island, we will go into the Taino Cave. The entrance to the cave is a bit tricky but with our expert guidance, you will do it if in good shape. Once inside the cave you feel transported directly into the past. We will see over 100 Taino petroglyphs (Writing/drawing in stone) that are very well preserved despite their age. This place combines beauty, adventure, adrenaline and history all into one place. Our expertise will be indispensable for getting in and out of the cave. Come experience this once in a lifetime activity with us.
Charco Azul Canyon
The hidden, better, prettier cousin of El Yunque; Charco Azul Canyon offers all the breathtaking scenery, fun and adventure of El Yunque Rainforest without the crowds of people. This is truly a local gem. We hike down into the Canyon, where we will cross the river to get into 2 Caves. The caves are fascinating and we get to swim thru one and the other one has a waterfall where we get to cool off. the hike thru the canyon itself is super fun, just the right amount of challenge and absolutely gorgeous. After we exit the Canyon and Caves we go to what the locals actually refer to as Charco Azul: A natural pool of fresh blue turquoise water. There we will swim, hike a bit up some rocks and go Cliff jumping (optional of course). There are different jumps suitable for all bravery levels. Come experience this hidden gem with us as going with a guide on this tour is absolutely necessary.

5.00We had a great time with our tour guide Gabriel. He is very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the area, and he is hilarious. He entertained us throughout the entire trip. He guided us well through the caves below in Arenales and above in Cueva del Indio and helped us when climbing. His driving through the narrow lanes is great. I don't know how he does it. One thing I liked a lot about him is how well he communicated with us in terms of what we needed to bring and what not. I would recommend this trip to anyone, and I'd gladly do it again.

5.00Amazing experience for the whole family. This is two tours combined into one so it is a long day that is well worth it. Our guide Edward was fantastic! His enthusiasm is infectious and support and encouragement throughout the day was great. Edward shared his knowledge of the history, geography and plant life of the area and took great pics and video of our group. I would recommend this tour for anyone looking for something more than el yunque/San Juan tours. #teamEdward

5.00Alexis was an amazing tour guide and we had a ton of fun in the Indian cave and ‘Jurassic Park’. He kept my wife and I safe and went above and beyond by buying us breakfast, stopping for lunch, and taking us back to our hotel so we didn’t have to take an uber.

5.00This was a great nature experience, highly recommend if you like adventures and enjoy hiking with a splash of water. Really enjoyed and our guide Jesus was excellent, friendly, funny and careful. Jumping off the 20ft+ cliffs was the best!!!!!! Amazing experience!!!!! Highly recommended.

5.00Sean was so great! He’s very genuine and kind. You can tell he really cares for PR, the environment, and animals. The tour also offers you the opportunity to learn the history of PR and the roots of its colonization while being immersed which I appreciated and believe is important to know as a tourist on the land.

5.00We did a double tour with Edward and he was absolutely the best guide we ever experienced. He educated us at every turn, explaining the forest plants and wildlife. He pointed out great views and photo shoots. He encouraged us along the way and always made us feel equipped to handle the paths. The views were breathtaking. You really have to experience it to understand how it feels to be a part of landscape we were in. The caves and caverns were awesome. The cliff and ocean also amazing. My favorite part out of all my favorite parts was drinking the cave waterfall water, the warrior shout, the climbing, the wading through the cave pool, the view from the top of the cliff. Edward’s team leadership, knowledge and friendliness. He’s the best!
