After an approximate 50-minute cruise, you’ll arrive at a beautiful reef – Carlos Rosario or the Luis Peña underwater nature preserve – located just off Culebra’s western shore, where your crew will anchor for 1.5 hours of snorkeling fun followed by a light lunch. Then it’s just 20 minutes to a deserted Culebra beach off the beaten path, where you’ll spend the rest of the afternoon swimming, snorkeling, beachcombing or sunbathing. (Underwater cameras and sunscreen are available for purchase on board.) Your captain will decide which beach is best, depending on weather conditions that day – most likely stunning Flamenco or a half-mile long beach on Culebrita, a tiny islet of the east coast of Culebra with outstanding views of St Thomas.

Experience was great on time and staff was so willing to help in every way. Some of the best service I’ve ever experienced.

This was a great trip! Definitely a highlight for our family. The crew was incredibly polite and accommodating. The service was great. Our only disappointment was not being able to make it to Culebra due to rough waters (completely out of the company’s control). However, we appreciate the fact that they looked after everyone’s safety in switching destinations. We still had a great day and loved Vieques!

**Positive Aspects:** It was a really good experience. The staff and crew were nice, and there were always snacks and drinks available on the boat. **Areas for Improvement:** The original destination was Culebra, but we ended up in Vieques, and the beach there wasn't as beautiful. Additionally, the snorkeling spot we visited was almost empty, with just a few fish.

The experience was AMAZING! The boat ride there was fascinating. Seeing just pure ocean and experiencing Flamenco beach was fascinating. Make sure you walk down the beach to see the old industrial tanks from back when the US took over the island and used it to test bombings. There’s a lot of history here.
