10/10 no notes so worth it. The cultural experience was so enlightening and the tribe was so kind and welcoming. We were constantly in awe with their talent and openness to teach us their culture. The food was incredible we are still salivating thinking of what we tried and ate. One of the most memorable and best things we did in NZ

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the village, which is entirely run by extended family. They were engaging, funny, polite and informative. We learned about the Māori culture at the same time as being very well entertained. The food was good too. All in all a great evening.

Lots of fun learning the culture, playing Māori games and enjoying food with new friends. We were encouraged to participate as a visiting “tribe” and one of our group was our chief. Our “tribe” included people from all over the world. It was an amazing experience.

A night to remember. Absolutely AMAZING! We were introduced to Māori culture in a fun and interactive way, given a show by excellent singers and had a lovely dinner afterwards. We were people from all over the world, having a blast together, and to quote one of the other guests: “This is how the world really should be.” The reason why he said that was how the performers included us in their culture and at the same time made us proud of our own. It was a very precious evening. So grateful to have experienced it!

I enjoyed the immersive evening from learning the haka, song, and dance through to the entertainment of watching the Maori people sing and dance. Culminating in a traditional cook meal with a drink. It was one of the highlights of my holiday in New zealand
