Camel racing is a large deal in Qatar. So large that there is TV channel devoted solely to the transmission of camel races, neighborhood and abroad. Camel racing at Al-Shahaniya racing track, placed one hour's force north of downtown Doha, is in full swing from November to February throughout which period, home and global tournaments are held. Even if there are no races, site visitors are welcome to quit by means of the music each day at 9:30 am or round 5:30 pm when the camels are taken to the area for practice.

5.00We enjoyed our tour immensely to learn about the camel racing culture. We saw teams of camels getting ready for the upcoming race season. We drove along side the camels in the owner’s lane while we learned about the training, prizes, rules, process and most importantly the jockey robots. Next we were off to the Faisal Museum to see a masterful collection of local and regional artifacts. We would highly recommend our professional and knowledgeable guide Javid. He was also a very safe and courteous driver.

5.00Thanks my guide Mr Bilal for making my day wonderful ! Even though I had only few hours to visit Doha city, he tried so hard to show and take me some beautiful places for my interests and I really enjoyed it. Recommend to be with this tour program if you have not much idea but want to enjoy more than you expected !

5.00Mujahid was our driver he was awesome: polite, on time, pointed out points of interest as we drove to the desert. We rode camels drank tea and headed 4 wheeling. It was the thrill of a lifetime! Fun, exciting, and a little scary in a good way - he definitely knows how to drive in the dunes! Next we went sand boarding and to the sea. Mujahid helped us to take awesome pics and he really knew the right angles and how to make them special. This was by far the best thing we did in Qatar!!

5.00Sajid was very knowledgeable about the races. He is a safe driver, and spoke English well. We enjoyed visiting the guest house and seeing the camels on their afternoon walk. The museum displayed a large array of items in middle eastern culture over the centuries-from daggers, to clothing, even cars and fossils. One of the most comprehensive collections I've seen of its kind.

4.00The most interesting part of the tour was the museum. Our tour guide was great. We saw the race track but no Camels racing cause it’s too hot. Think they should take this part off during the hotter months and replace it with something else.
