Enjoy our maximum private adventure: Sightseeing, sailing, snorkeling and relaxing in ultimate serenity on the all-inclusive tour of a lifetime! You'll be greeted in the Seru Boca Marina - at the gated area of the old Santa Barbara Plantation, here you'll step aboard our comfortable 48ft sailing yacht, Galaxie. Your adventure starts as we motor upwind for about 30 minutes, navigating through the serene Spanish Waters, a large natural lagoon with the only opening to sea along the Santa Barbara Beach. From here you will sail upwinds in another 30 minutes through the Caribbean Sea and reach the beauty of Fuik Bay.
Santa Barbara Beach
After slowly cruising through the large lagoon of the Spanish Waters you'll pass Santa Barbara Beach, nowadays the home of Sandals Resort and the base of the famous Old Quarry Golf Course. From here we set sail to the Caribbean Sea for another 30 minutes before we reach the beauty of Fuik Bay.

5.00When we booked this sailing excursion, we did not know what to expect. Neither my wife or I are avid sailors. We were searching for a relaxed environment to break away from our resort and enjoy the ocean and some swimming. This trip was fantastic!

From the ease of I tail communication and coordination to the outstanding lunch that was provided to the hospitality of our gracious hosts, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Hilde and Norbert were welcoming and knowledgeable with just the right level of involvement with their guests. It really was like taking a trip on a friends lovely boat. Oh, and they have great taste in wine too!!

5.00When visiting Curacao please do not hesitate to book with Maxie Sailing! My family of 5 had a wonderful adventure on the boat that was also very relaxing for those that prefer to just lay back and enjoy the scenery! The food was DELICIOUS! My picky eating kids enjoyed every last bite, so fresh and perfect. Curacao is a beautiful island and this excursion was a lovely addition to our stay! Highly recommend!

5.00I cannot say enough good things about Maxies. We felt at home from the time that Norbert and Hilde welcomed us on to their beautiful boat. They take care of everything and make sure you relax and enjoy yourself. Hilde provided an amazing lunch and her and Norbert made sure everyone was comfortable. I can’t wait to come back to curaçao and see these two.

5.00We couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing, enjoyable afternoon. Such kind and welcoming hosts, Hilde & her husband were engaging, sharing history, insight and great conversation. We were welcomed on board with a champagne toast and spent an unforgettable afternoon swimming, sunbathing and enjoying delicious homemade snacks. Sailing on their beautiful sailboat was a highlight of our visit to beautiful Curacao!

5.00This experience was above and beyond what we expected. Maxie sailing was top notch and a must do! Hilde & Norbert were the best hosts from the first contact until they dropped us back off. The experience was priceless and so personal. We were surprising our friend for her 50th birthday. They had champagne upon arrival and decorations for our friend’s birthday. The snacks were homemade and so delicious. They both made this experience so relaxing and fun. We loved every minute of this beautiful private boat ride. I would highly recommend you take the time to book them in Curaçao! You will not be disappointed. We will definitely book again.

5.00Norbert and Hilda exceeded our expectations. The sail was wonderful. There yatch was so clean and organized. It looked brand new. The food was so good and all homemade. They also knew a lot about the history of the island. We loved it and would highly recommend it. Thank you Hilda & Norbert

5.00Our sailing trip with Maxie's Sailing was fantastic! We had the most beautiful day around Curacao and spending hours on Norbert and Hilde's gorgeous sailboat was a tremendous way to enjoy a day! This couple was so knowledgeable, relational, and enjoyable to talk with as they shared about the island, the Caribbean, life on the island and their experiences in Curacao. We knew we would be provided lunch and drinks... We had no idea how exquisite our lunch would be! Hilde made all the dips, meatballs, shrimp, pita bread etc. to go with the sliced meats they provided. Our party of six was enthralled by the presentation and even more so by the delicious taste of every morsel of food! And the wines they offered along with the soft drinks and other beverages were fantastic! This excursion was one of our very very favorite from our trips to the Caribbean. We give Maxie's Sailing in Curacao 10 stars! The experience was just that great!

5.00Fantastic day sail in Curacao... Norbert and Hilde made us feel as though we were chartering with good friends at the helm..... The charcuterie board and wine pairings were second to none... and the ice cold beer wasn't bad either!... Swimming and snorkeling on a secluded beach with a nice downwind reach on the way back to the dark.... It really doesn't get any better than that...

5.00I can’t say enough about Maxie Sailing. We were a family of 11 with our children and grandchildren aged 8 to 17. Hilde and Norbert put everyone at ease even our youngest who was a bit nervous to start with. Everything was perfect. Hilde pre arranged our pick up and drop off at the port. In between we were treated to 6 hours of swimming and snorkeling in 2 beautiful spots, a healthy snack, bubbly to toast Christmas Day, premium wine or beer, drink options for the kids and a homemade and delicious charcuterie board. They really love what they do and it shows. Thanks again Hilde and Norbert The Burnett’s, Ontario Canada.
