  This was amazing. We met our guide, Shoo at the designated spot. We were looking for him and he approached us so we didn't have to go around asking others if they were the guide. We explained a few things we thought might be fun. He knew of all of them and explained what would be good to begin because they would fill up with tourists. He would act as a tour guide with explanations at each one of our stops. During the drive he was very knowledgeable and gave us background and history about the island. During the whole experience he was extremely friendly and we laughed and learned a lot. He knew of a few hidden gems we decided to check out and I glad we asked as they were not on our list. Overall I would book this again in a heartbeat just for the friendly interaction, expert general knowledge, and execution. Thank you Shoo for an amazing time!

  Shue was an excellent tour guide! Our group of 10 had so much fun seeing the sights, snorkeling, and beach time. Shue took us everywhere we wanted to experience. I couldn't have asked for a better day. We will definitely book again and I have already recommended to friends who are going to Curacao in the future.

  Shue was one of the best guides we have ever had! He was so friendly and knowledgeable about the island. We told him a general idea of things we wanted to see and he was able to get us to everything and still back to the ship in time to do some shopping. He knew the best beach to see turtles that wasn't super crowded. He took us to a local restaurant for lunch and the food was phenomenal. I would definitely recommend booking with them! We had a great day!

  You feel enchanted by the appearance of the colonial-style buildings, their strong and vivid colors in the city center. Without a doubt, you must cross the floating bridge, admire the purity of the water, the cruise ships docked in the area, and the variety of birds—from pelicans patiently waiting for lunch to appear, to graceful herons and frigatebirds silhouetted against the blue of the sky. It is pleasant to wander along the picturesque little streets that stitch together the city space, full of shops overflowing with souvenirs, from the ever-present magnets to the region’s multicolored traditional outfits; I did notice, however, a shop selling tablecloths, napkins, and all kinds of objects that can adorn a table or add extra comfort to a bed. You have the opportunity to practice walking; I encountered a taxi stand only at the entrance/exit to Mambo Beach. Although Uber is announced as being available, regardless of the destination I chose, I invariably received the message “not available.” There is an abundance of restaurants offering mainly fast food; I encountered only a few traditional dishes. You are rewarded, however, by the presence of live music; in the pleasant atmosphere of Boho 6, I noticed the band Duo Luz. Do not miss La Roma, beautifully located and authentically Italian, from freshly made pasta prepared on the spot, in full view, to mouthwatering pizzas, naturally accompanied by a quality Chianti. It is also worth taking a look at the fruit market where, I confess, many of the fruits were unfamiliar to me. From the city, by relying on the kindness of the hotel where you are staying, you can reach one of the many nearby beaches. I went only to Mambo Beach. Here you are enchanted by the color of the water and its clarity, the delicacy of the fine white sand. It is advisable to equip yourself with a towel and everything needed for swimming from the hotel, as on the beach these are available only to those staying at the neighboring resort. You should not miss a visit to Klein Curaçao, which can be reached with one of the companies offering catamaran excursions; here you let yourself be seduced by the beauty of the water and the austerity of the land dominated by shrubs and inhabited by agile lizards. A few changing cabins and some toilets would have been welcome! It is also worth taking a trip to the north of the island, with stops at the wonderful stretches of water populated by graceful flamingos, at Playa Grandi where you can swim with beautiful turtles, and at Shete Boka National Park, where you can admire the wild waters crashing against shores formed of petrified coral.

  Ray made us feel safe and treated us like royalty. He told us the history about the island. He is full of knowledge. He was easy to talk to and took care of our family like his own.   Nine of us took a 6-hour private tour with Shue. We all had a resoundingly good time. Shue spoke clearly and had quite the sense of humor. Coincidentally, Shue knew exactly where some of us were from in Long Island, NY. That immediately forged a bond. Shue was open to our suggestions and requests as to what we wanted to see and experience during the tour. He was a fount of information on the history of Curacao and ensured that he took us by the key features of Willemstad. During the trip north to Shete Boka, we learned more facts about life and living in Curacao. Ironically, Shue took us to a restaurant that we had been looking for the previous day. Shue was patient and open to any and all questions. There seemed to be nothing that Shue was not conversant on. It was a great day. Thanks!
