  This was my first time booking an excursion outside of the cruise line and I am so happy I did. They were waiting for us with signs right outside of the cruise terminal and our private guide Johny was amazing. We got to set the pace and itinerary of what we did. For what we ending up doing it cost less than half of what booking with the cruise line costs and for it was private, just me and my buddy no giant group of strangers from the boat. Johny our guide is a world class guide, fantastic driver and has spent his whole life (29 years young) on the island. Johny is like a local celebrity getting us deals everywhere we went and top tier service. We ended up hitting the local shopping market for some local beers, driving around the island getting things pointed out to us, hitting a private beach club and a private chartered boat to go snorkeling ending with shopping in a handful of shops. Johny carried our bags, helped negotiate prices for us, and went with the flow of what we wanted to do. If at all possible request him. The car was nice with ice cold AC. My days of booking excursions through cruise lines are over. THANKS JOHNY !!

  Alfredo was such a friendly and knowledgeable guide!! I don’t think we could have gotten anyone better. The directions are spot on, on the meeting location. Dropped us off back inside the port so easy easy easy!!! Loved that our excursion was customizable and all done in an airconditioned van. Highly recommend

  We had Nathan as our driver on November 12th. Fantastic experience. Met us at the port took us all over the island and made a stop for us at the brewery. Highly recommend this as an excursion. Made it back to the ship in plenty of time. Nathan was awesome. There were 4 of us in the group. Plenty of room in the vehicle and despite the rainy day we had a great time.

  Great tour with a very knowledgeable and personable driver. Tyler made the most of our tour on a day when the weather was not cooperating. I would book again with Tyler anytime on Roatan.

  We chose the island tour today with Roatan Tucan Adventures. Our tour guide, Sinthia, was outstanding. She made sure we were comfortable made sure we saw the sites we wanted to see. She took us to the rum factory, the chocolate factory which was not the one where all of the cruise ship tourist go to. The chocolate factory was very knowledgeable, we bought five different types of chocolate candy bars in a wooden souvenir box I was as happy with the box as I was with any other souvenir! She stopped and bought us the local beer which we enjoyed. She took photos of us at any stop that we wanted to see. We arrived back to our cruise ship in plenty of time. We would highly recommend Sinthia and Roatan Tucan Adventures!

  MY tour guide Alfedo was on time and waiting for me near the port. My wife was not feeling well so it was just Alfredo and myself on the tour. I told him to avoid the normal tourist attractions and show me the real island and he did. It was great. We toured the island and saw more of the residents and where and how they live, where they eat, trade and do everything. We stopped at a local restaurant and had what looked like a giant taco, called a baleada except the lady made the tortilla by hand on front of us, filled it with chicken, mashed beans, queso cheese and it was out of this world. I bought one for Alfredo as well and had a pineapple drink to wash it down. It was the best. We stopped at a local shop and tasted some rum cake, and different flavored rums, so I bought a bottle for my daughter, very reasonably priced. Before that we did go to a small local chocolate shop so I could get my sweet tooth wife some chocolate, the entire staff there was friendly and helpful. We went places off the beaten path and I saw parts of the island many don't get to see. It was a four hour tour, I got some great pictures, nice earrings as well for my wife. I had a blast. If ever in Roatan, get Alfredo as your guide, he is very accomodating friendly and knowledgeable. Many thanks to him.

  The trip was nice. It was well organized. Kevin was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend this tour to others and recommend Kevin as the tour guide.

  Donnie was very chill and gave us several options that best suited our interests during our 4 hour tour. The weather was rainy for most of the time but we still had a great time and took advantage of dry spells. Donnie was very enthusiastic about taking lots of pictures of us and answering any questions we had about Roatan and the Mainland Honduras. I would recommend him and this excursion.
