This exclusive Private tour will begin with a pick up in Passau or Linz from the harbour where your cruise ship is docked. After we have met, we will drive to the city of Salzburg or other areas of interest such as the Lake District, Hallstatt, or the Eagle's Nest (from May 15 to 31 October). We can always customize your itinerary on the day. Everything is possible.

Our tour guide Carlos was AMAZING! When we told him we did not want to do the sound of music tour but was on our list, he instantly had a suggestion for our itinerary that even included a few other things we did not know about (including a stop at the Silent Night Church market...so special) and a trip up the mountain to see the Alps. Carlos was super informative and full of GREAT suggestions. He was an exceptional tour guide and total professional. We were on a river cruise and although I made sure to send our location information in advance, he followed up with the cruise company! I cannot recommend this tour enough. If you are looking for something special for a day - DO THIS! Our entire group said it was one of the highlights of our entire trip!

Carlos was an outstanding guide—knowledgeable, personable, and a delight to spend the day with. While on our Viking River Cruise, we took a day trip from Passau to Salzburg, and he showed us hidden gems we never would have found on our own or with a large group. The return drive through the countryside was the perfect finish. Salzburg is a charming town, and this was truly one of our favorite days of the trip. Highly recommend booking with Carlos!

THIS is the way to really experience Salzburg! Carlos took 6 of us from our river cruise ship in Passau to Salzburg. From the Autoban to the beautiful winding roads we were able to see the Alps, the gorgeous lakes and the Sound of Music highlights much better than on a tour bus. Carlos was a wonderful host, great driver and shared so much culture, local customs and a fabulous local restaurant lunch with us. It was the highlight of our 2 week European river cruise. Thank you for sharing the day and your Austrian culture with us!

Michael’s knowledge of both Salzburg and Sound of Music and his ability to communicate it and respond to our questions made the entire tour very enjoyable. Also, we appreciated his consideration of our group’s limitations when taking us to points of interest.

Going up to the top of the mountain and our driver played, The Hills are Alive with the sound of music. The view was spectacular. The highlights of the Sound of Music, the gardens, the fountains, the gazebo were beautiful.

Michael was an amazing guide.He took us to the most picturesque spots with lakes and mountain tops that we could have never seen by ourselves in one day trip from our viking cruise boat.He is extremely knowledgeable 'has a great sense of humor and got us safely in time to catch our boat on time. Would highly recommend this private tour. We were 8 in our group. Comfortable in mercedes vito.
