5.00Our family had the pleasure of experiencing the Cycle and Trek tour on Phu Quoc Island with Hornbill Adventures. The entire experience, from the start to end, was wonderfully organized. Mr T was our guide and he took really great care of all of us, especially my teen son. After almost 2 hours of cycling with a few stops (temple, market, etc) we trekked through the forest to swim at the waterfall. At the waterfall, we were met with Si and Hala who had prepared a delicious steamed chicken for us! The tour felt like we were on an outing with our Vietnamese buddies! I must mention that the bicycles and gears provided were in excellent condition and impeccably clean, which added to the overall comfort and enjoyment of the tour. If you're looking for a memorable and adventurous way to explore the beauty of Phu Quoc Island, I highly recommend going with Hornbill Adventures. You will not regret this opportunity to hang out with the lovely folks.

5.00We are a fairly active and fit couple in our mid 60’s and we were looking for a guided cycle tour in Phu Quoc which would give us a great feel for the local culture as well as some exercise! We had a fabulous ride this morning with Si and Lam and they told us to the fish sauce factory, local market and some temples. We really enjoyed the picturesque coffee stop and at all times safety was paramount. Si was extremely knowledgeable on the locality’s history and gave us an insight into the wider Vietnamese culture. Lam was very delightful and supported us well. The ride was mainly flat, not demanding and very enjoyable. We would thoroughly recommend this to anyone considering a fun bike ride and we can do it any one can ( even on a warm day)!

5.00Warm welcome from Mr Tan, we were Lucky , only us ! We did exactly as mentioned in the tour but we asked to return by Bike instead of the bus and it was great ! Easy ride , fun and learnt a lot ! We definetly recommend this tour with Mr Tan !

5.00Hac is one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had. The tour itself was fantastic. I highly recommend this particular tour. One important note: when you go to the rice wine brewer, if you want to buy any alcohol there, get the lower percentage alcohol. The brewery does not have a label or package. Stronger alcohol of 24% or more can only be taken out of the country if it comes in the company’s package with their label. For lower percentage alcohol, this is not necessary and can be taken out in the plastic bottles they give you. Therefore I suggest the jackfruit alcohol. Refer to the attached image for the specific laws. this image comes from another brewery that makes alcohol from a local purple flower.

5.00Great day out with fascinating stops and very manageable biking. Si was a great guide and made the day even more enjoyable. We visited a small winemaker and tasted various strength sweet berry wine, stopped in at a pepper farm and blew our taste sensations with all manner of peppers. Then proceeded to the fish sauce factory… despite learning about what goes into the infamous sauce it was actually tasty! Then back to more brewing,but this time rice whiskey. A fabulous distillation set up in the middle of nowhere and some very tasty rice whiskey to take on to our final stop. On to the kilns where charcoal is made and a fabulous whole chicken cooked up for us. Every step of the way we got real insights and information about living in Phu Quoc. A genuine must do tour and highly recommended.

5.00I and my friends had a wonderful Cycling tour experience in Pho Quoc Island. The very traditional village like Fish / Charcoal factories and local farming. An excellent local Vietnam style lunch which is totally prefect to us too!! Mr. Si is the best tour guide with good English speaker - a nice young helpful guy - the most responsible and thoughtful person, he took care us super well, and he can also share some Vietnam background story to us. We will highly recommend it when you travel in Phu Quoc.

5.00Thank you Si for such an amazing day-tour! Great energetic and passionate tour-guide, filled with so much knowledge. He catered to our needs (both being novice biker riders), where we always felt safe and by the end, very accomplished. It was fantastic to step away from the touristy spots, and really see the real Phu Quoc, tasting the delicious food, authentically made drinks and taking in the wonderful sights. We’re already recommending to our friends back home - this is the tour to go on! Great English and good vibes all round. We even got to bring home some gorgeous handmade jewellery. Thank you Hornbill adventures!

5.00Wonderful visit on a ride around Phu Quoc on really nice bicycles with an amazing guide, Si, who happens to have really good English too!! Touring more remote areas with authentic traditions of making charcoal and making a Vietnamese rice wine. (We choose to skip the fish sauce as we saw a tour on it. ) I love seeing how things are made and this tour really hit a high note for me. Our guide was amazing and had good patience due to my older friend was slower on the bike, but I am glad we took this tour. It was not too challenging, but definitely was something different than I would normally do. I like having an option besides getting burned on a beach ⛱️ 😂. I would encourage this booking, biking and cultural tour for most any age and condition. My friend was 75 and I am 42.
