5.00This excursion was everything we hoped it would be and more. We were picked up right outside the cruise terminal with clear directions on where to go. The drive to our first stop was about an hour, so we stopped once for a quick break if needed. Our tour guide Ash was fantastic. He refreshed in our minds things we had forgotten we learned about the history leading up to, on, and after D-Day and told us many things we never knew, both on the bus as we traveled and at each site. Our visits to the German cemetery, Point du Hoc, Omaha Beach, and the American cemetery were meaningful and left us with so many feelings. The lunch was what might be a typical French lunch and was delicious and a large portion. We ate at the Overlord Museum, which we didn’t have time to visit but were able to pickup some great souvenirs in the gift shop. Sahid (spelling?) was a wonderful driver, and we returned back to the cruise terminal with time to spare. Thank you, Ash, for a day we will never forget!

5.00Sam was a very knowledgeable & informative guide. He clearly knew his subject matter. The tour was delivered very respectfully. The day is long but well broken up with breaks and stops. The coach (including driver) were comfortable and well presented, there was never a feeling of being unsafe. It also helped that the weather was good :-) Visiting these places is a must if you're able to learn about the sacrifice for today's freedoms.

5.00The tour guide(Caroline) was informative and personable. The tour covers alot of ground. It would be nice to have a little more time at the first stop. But, we realize it is limited by the cruise ship itinerary. Highly recommend this tour
