The Marble Mountains
- Marble Mountains are a cluster of five hills made from limestone and marble in Da Nang. It's also a well-known pilgrimage site with peaks, caves, tunnels and temples all just waiting to be discovered. Named after the elements metal, wood, water, fire and earth, Marble Mountains exist in a coastal area that is renowned for stone-cutting and sculpture about 9km south of Da Nang. - The caves within the mountains hold many secrets including bullet holes from when troops used to spy on the US soldiers relaxing on My Khe Beach below and buildings standing within the caves and grottoes. There are also Buddhist sanctuaries and places of worship dotted across the mountains which are a much-visited spiritual site. You can even see a special circular cave here. It leads to the summit, where you can enjoy spectacular panoramic views.
Linh Ung Pagoda
A meeting place of heaven and earth’s sacred air and people’s heart Just 4 km away from the city center, Linh Ung – Bai But pagoda is now considered as the largest pagoda in Da Nang City in both scale and art of architecture. The pagoda brings a contemporary style combined with inherent tradition of pagodas in Vietnam, with curved roof in dragon shape, the solid pillars surrounded by sophisticated sinuous dragons.

You have a driver as well as a guide who speaks perfect English and has good knowledge of the city. The guide has the driver on tap by the phone. This allows you to take your own time. My wife has issues with her legs and, therefore, takes time getting up and down stairs which was a requirement at the temples. The car was comfortable and air-conditioned. We are in our late 60's and found that the 5 hour trip was about right for us.

It gave an experience of the most popular sights to see in Da Nang. Our guide Chi was a delight and very knowledgeable. She was sweet and didn’t rush us. And she also took a number of great pictures of us.

Very nice tour. We initially had booked the DaNang tour but changed to My Son tour. Glad we did as we had seen already many of the DaNang sites. The My Son tour was very interesting, we saw some of the country site, rice fields, cemetery and local market before we arrived at My Son historical site. Besides the ruins we also saw a traditional dance show. Our tour guide and driver were outstanding. The car was clean, pick up on time and the driver was very good. We can highly recommend this tour.

I booked this last minute. We wanted to get a taste of Da Nang and see some of the sights. I was advised our guide didn't speak English, but he certainly could speak well enough that we could understand him, and when he struggled he used a translator app, so there were no communication issues. He arrived on time and the car was comfortable and clean. He really seemed to enjoy showing us the sights and was attentive without being obtrusive. I really appreciated his assistance during our tour of the marble Mountains as I had injured my knee earlier in the year and struggled with the slippery steps. He bought us a couple of coffees that were absolutely delicious from a little cafe and offered lunch as well (we had had a large breakfast so declined, but will recommend if you can). I cannot say enough good things about this tour and our guide Toan. He took a lot of pictures with our camera and his which he forwarded to my whats app. Definitely do this tour and with Toan if you can.

An absolute must do when in the city. Our tour guide and driver were wonderful and made this a most enjoyable trip to Danang. Their flexibility allowed us to meet local fisherman, enjoy a quick coffee, and visit the hi lights of the area. Their knowledge as guides was well worth the booking fee. I can’t recommend this enough.
