The Marble Mountains
- Marble Mountains are a cluster of five hills made from limestone and marble in Da Nang. It's also a well-known pilgrimage site with peaks, caves, tunnels and temples all just waiting to be discovered. Named after the elements metal, wood, water, fire and earth, Marble Mountains exist in a coastal area that is renowned for stone-cutting and sculpture about 9km south of Da Nang. - The caves within the mountains hold many secrets including bullet holes from when troops used to spy on the US soldiers relaxing on My Khe Beach below and buildings standing within the caves and grottoes. There are also Buddhist sanctuaries and places of worship dotted across the mountains which are a much-visited spiritual site.
Linh Ung Pagoda
A meeting place of heaven and earth’s sacred air and people’s heart Just 9 km away from the city center, Linh Ung – Bai But pagoda is now considered as the largest pagoda in Da Nang City in both scale and art of architecture. The pagoda brings a contemporary style combined with inherent tradition of pagodas in Vietnam, with curved roof in dragon shape, the solid pillars surrounded by sophisticated sinuous dragons.

What a great tour! We saw beautiful sites and had a wonderful guide and driver. So easy to get in and out of sites easily navigating traffic and crowds. Our guide even assisted us with shopping! This is a great city with much to see and enjoy.

Driver and guide arrived early at the port for pickup….guide had excellent English and was very knowledgeable. He was also attentive to our needs, as seniors, and flexible on the itinerary.

From the moment of pick up at the Port, we had a fantastic day with Hung. He was friendly, informative & very flexible with the activities for the day. The tour was above & beyond what the itinerary stated. Hung found a great place for us to eat lunch at Hoi An & was infinitely patient with our meandering through the shops & stalls in the town. Kudos to our driver Hua, he was amazing too!

This is actually Rebecca’s niece Cathy writing the review, because she wasn’t able to go after all. My mother and I had only a couple hours to see Hoi An. We let our guide Mr. Tung know that we wanted to take a slow walk through old town, find a nice coffee shop with a view, and do a little souvenir shopping. Mr. Tung said we could count on him and boy did he come through! He was at the meeting point early and greeted us immediately. On the drive, we saw Da Nang, which also looks like a wonderful place to visit. Once we got to Hoi An, Mr. Tung walked with us, letting us choose our pace, stopping at shops when something caught our eye. He took care to help us cross streets safely and guided us to a clean restroom when I needed it. He showed us some highlights that I’m really glad we saw, and pointed out some interesting architectural details and gave us a little history as well. We of course visited the famous covered bridge and admired many lanterns. Mr. Tung got us a perfect table at a very nice coffee shop, with a view of the river. He recommended we try “salt coffee”, which was DELICIOUS. We had a great experience and would love to have Mr. Tung as a guide again in the future. Hoi An is a very special place, and touring it with someone who can share history and insights makes it even more enjoyable. I would love to visit again.

It's always the guide that makes a tour like this work, because you spend a lot of time together in a car or walking around. Tiffany was our guide from this trip and she was great! Fun to team to, very informative about both Da Nang and Vietnam in general, with perspectives from her life and her family's life. The sights themselves were also fantastic, even on a cloudy day. Hoi An would be great at night, which we didn't do, but overall this was fantastic.

As a first time traveler to Vietnam I was anxious to totally immerse myself in the food, customs and culture of a new country. Lucky for me I opted to rely on the help of these guys to show me everything I could experience. Hung and Dat added so much to every excursion they took me on - from the beautiful temples, Lady Buddha, Marble Mountain, Ba Na Hills, Hoi An (with a tailor visit and foot massage) and an adventurous food tour. The knowledge and pride that these guys have for their country is beyond amazing! And they take great pride in sharing that pride and knowledge with their clients. I can honestly say they added so much to my trip and I gained two friends from my time with them! Do yourself a favor and contact them to make your time in Da Nang and Hoi An an unforgettable adventure!

We hired Hung and Dat for a 4-hour tour for 3M dongs that included the marble mountains, lady Buddha, the marble cutters village and the Anh market. Hung was driving and Dat was talking. We loved the tour! Hung and Dat know so much about their country and its history and no topic was off limits! We asked so many questions and they always had the answer (and were very patient!). By that time we had been in the country for 3 weeks and had accumulated so many questions that we had no one to ask to. We highly recommend this service 👌

Great tour! We started with Monkey Mountain and the impressive Lady Buddha, then visited the Coconut Forest, they arranged this variation since we had already visited the Marble Mountain . The day ended in the beautiful town of Hoi An. Our guide, Tin, was extremely knowledgeable and spoke excellent English, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We also stopped at a silk factory. Normally we don’t enjoy these kinds of visits, but learning how silk is made was genuinely interesting, and the quality of the products was excellent. Truly a great experience, highly recommended!

Our guide, Tung Dang, (fluent in English and Japanese) was incredible. His in-depth knowledge of local landmarks, history, culture, and even modern attractions, such as restaurants and bars, was well received. I'd recommend this intelligent and likeable professional to anyone ready to enjoy a sightseeing trip in Vietnam. (Also, many thanks to our competent young driver who moved us around Da Nang and Hoi An with confidence and skill.)
