This Ebike Cycling tour was introduced by Africa Unlocked Tours and Travel as part of a long term solution to tourist vehicle congestion and pollution inside Hell'sgate National Park.

By participating, you support our initiative while at the same time impacting the lives of the local community that relies on the park for survival.

Hell's Gate National Park

Hellsgate National Park is home to non predatory wildlife that coexist with the Maasai Community and Wildlife Rangers. Guests can expect to marvel at this amazing attraction's Fischers Tower, Ol-Njorowa Gorge, Birds, and an array of wildlife.

The Fischers Tower is a 45 meters volcanic plug named after a German explorer, Dr. Fischer, where guests go for rock climbing (optional and not included in the rates).

We visited Hell's Gate national park with e-bikes guided by Alfred. It was a wonderful experience that I would repeat tomorrow. After cycling through the park in comfort we arrived to the gorge were we proceeded with a Masai guide by foot. Then we got back to our e-bikes with Alfred and went to have a bath at the close by Kengen Geothermal Spa. After that we finally crossed again the park to the entrance on our e-bikes. Alfred is funny, intelligent, curious and really great guide during this tour. He talked to us about the history of the place and the people who live in the area, and also about the animals and wonders of the park. I hope the best for Alfred and Africa Unlocked Tours, it was really hard to find e-bikes and luckily we found them. Thank you!

The excursion at hell's gate with Alfred has been amazing. We have loved every single moment of the tour, from the organization to the actual tour itself. The organizational part has been easy, smooth and transparent, without any bad suprise at the end. Everything was very clear from the beginning and I appreciate that as this is not always the case. During the tour Alfred has been extremely nice, funny and friendly. He respected our time, shared a lot of information, and spent quality time with us. One of the best guide I have had in Kenya so far (and I live here..). The park itself is beautiful and it does not need much reviews, while I would say that the experience with the ebike really makes the difference as it makes the park feasible even for not well fit people (as me). Thank you Alfred and thanks to the company, I will definitely come back when other friends and family will come to visit.

We had an absolute PERFECT experience with this company. Alfred arranged for us a very tailored schedule (we were very stretched on time) in Hells Gate. Every element (the ebikes, the guides, the drivers) were perfectly on time and perfectly arranged. We could not have wished for a better company to organize our travels - thank you so much!!

This trip with Alfred is as absolutely amazing! You get so close to the animals and feel part of the park on the bikes. We got to stop at spots and Alfred shared history of the park, the plants, stories of the people and of course the animals. This was easily one of the best visits we had while in Kenya. Def recommend taking the e-bike for a mix of exercise and cursing when tired up the sometimes hilly terrain in the hot sun. Since we started early we also got to hike the canyon with a Masai guide. Visit a Masai market and get souvenirs and take a bath in the geothermal spring. Suggest walking with extra cash for these bonus experiences. Don’t worry if you don’t have a swimsuit, you can rent one and towels at the geothermal spa. Overall amazing, I would highly recommend and would do again next time in Kenya. Thanks to Alfred for an amazing day!
