I signed up on a Saturday thinking there would be other people signed up but when I showed up at the meeting site I found out it was just me. I’m glad they didn’t cancel and still went on with the tour. Let me first start off by saying - do not eat for a few hours before going on the tour. We went to 5 locations that night with desert overlooking the night market. My guide was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable of Da Nang and the local foods. Be ready for small little quizzes of the different words of the food. I didn’t too well but by the end of the night I felt comfortable thanking our host restaurants in Vietnamese. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning more about great street food that Da Nang has to offer. My advice is to wear loose clothing!

It was so good! Food was delicious and he was very informative! Different types of food and their history and influence was discussed. Worth every penny!

Pro: This was a fun way to spend an evening. All the food I tried was delicious and Binh was a good conversationalist. Con: I think this tour is a little overpriced but assume it’s because there isn’t a lot of competition unlike in Hanoi and HCMC.

Binh led me (no one else booked for that day) around some favorite spots, featuring several places that were part of his daily routine in school. The food and conversation were excellent as he provided local history influencing the dishes made and love here, with special attention to the French influences. Additionally, he gauged my interest before going to a somewhat more adventurous stop, making sure to provide foods that wouldn't be too jarring for a weak stomach. Every dish was delicious and interesting, and I especially appreciated being taught to thank the people making the food in their language. Can't go wrong with this tour; cam on, Binh!!
