A great introduction to the old parts of Dar and the street food. It's a noisy, dusty and hot experience, but you get a great sense of what life is like for the people working and living in the district as well as the history of several of the major buildings. The food tour element was great fun (bring an appetite, the food is delicious!) and provides more insights into life of the people living in the area, which is a true melting pot of traditions and religions. We really enjoyed it.

The tour was excellent and get to try restaurants that you wouldn’t expect to go to during your trip in Tanzania. A tour that you must book if you’re in Dar es Salaam.

Oh my goodness. What an amazing experience. Started with a small walking tour that gave a brief glimps into the history of Dar es Salaam. And then into areas of diverse food culture. Fruits, Street pastry's, cane sugar juice.. the most authentic chai I've had outside of India, At KT. A local place that is a highlight. Samosas. And soo much more. These two are absolutely amazing. Knowledgeable about history and culture. And genuinely kind people. They want to make your experience amazing. We were able to go on a Sunday morning. So traffic is manageable and walking is easy.

Amazing experience with very good food. I truly recommend this Dar es Salaam tour. Aqeel is a great guy, very personable, and is very knowledgeable when it comes to the city and its people.

We really enjoyed the city and food tour. We learned about the history of the old town and then started the food tour. We enjoyed delicious food from several places that is where the locals eat. This was a great introduction to the city and I highly recommend the tour.

Great experience, definitely the best way to explore the city. The food was delicious. Ema and Aqeel were wonderful guides, we learned a lot about Land und Leite. Definitely recommended!

This tour truly exceeded all my expectations! From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The tour duration, walking pace, and food were perfectly balanced, and I never once felt bored while exploring the city. Every local dish I tried was delicious and completely new to me, and I loved getting to experience such a wide variety of Tanzanian food. The guides, Aqueel and Ima, were outstanding — incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. As a solo traveler, I felt safe, welcomed, and well taken care of throughout the entire tour. I especially appreciated how attentive they were to my safety, right up until drop-off. This evening tour was the perfect way to end the day. If you’re visiting Dar es Salaam, this tour is an absolute must. Highly, highly recommended!

Incredible experience! The guides were very informative. We started out with a wonderful walking tour of the city center, stopping at many landmarks. We heard about the history and culture of Tanzania. Then we went to multiple food stands to try various dishes at the places that locals go to. Definitely enough food to get very full by the end! Also as a woman, I felt safe the entire time and loved how friendly and professional the guides were.

Had a great experience. Everything from transfer, walkingtour and the food was taken care of. The guide knew a lot about the city and I felt safe walking downtown. I would definitely recommend this tour.

We had an amazing experience. The combination of a walking tour of two hours and afterwards eating different kinds of traditional foods is perfect. The guides are very friendly and motivated to comfort your trip. Would recommend to anyone!
