The Bucegi Mountains are famous not just for their beauty, but for their strange rock formations shaped by wind and time, like the iconic Sphinx or Babele.
Hiking in the Bucegi Mountains is a mix of dramatic scenery, accessible trails, and a touch of wild, untamed nature.
What makes it special is the variety, you can go from dense forests to wide alpine plateaus. Many routes open up to sweeping views over Transylvania and Wallachia, especially around landmarks like the Bucegi Plateau, where the landscape feels almost surreal.
There are 2 ways to arrive up in the flat Plateau, by cable car or by walking trough valleys and forests till above 2000m high altitude.
With us, you can choose the hiking level that suits you best, whether you prefer an easy walk, a moderate adventure, or a challenging climb.
Easy Level hike - between 3-5 hours
Medium Level hike - between 5-6 hours
Difficult Level hike - between 6-9 hours

5.00Excellent guided hike which had some difficult climbs but the views were worth that effort. Very knowledgeable guige Emil who kept us engaged with information about the history, flora and fauna.
