We begin with the famous Four Waterfalls Trail a magical circular walk-through wooded gorges and river valleys, where you’ll discover some of the most iconic cascades in Wales. Expect roaring water, moss-covered rocks, and the chance to walk right behind one of the waterfalls for a fully immersive experience. But we don’t stop there, we travel onward (follow us in your car) to the spectacular Henrhyd Falls, the tallest waterfall in South Wales, tumbling dramatically into a deep, echoing gorge. A fitting grand finale to a day of waterfalls!
Led by an experienced Mountain Leader and Green Badge Tourist Guide, with decades of local knowledge. Expect stories of the landscape, industrial past, and the natural forces that shaped these dramatic valleys. The walk covers varied terrain: woodland paths, riverside trails, and some rough, muddy sections. You’ll gain height gradually as we explore this beautiful corner of Wales.

An excellent day - well paced, safe walking through beautiful scenery which our teenagers enjoyed as much as we did. Some of the waterfalls and views are spectacular but it was also very pleasant walking through forest and farmland - about 10 miles altogether. Glad we went for a guided hike as this helped us to avoid the crowds in the morning and we enjoyed the company of our small group. Our guide was very knowledgeable, informative and friendly and he judged the needs/ pace for the group really well. We enjoyed the remote cafe stop for lunch too. A very memorable experience - thanks Andy!

This is our first hike. Andy and Kate were amazing, patient and great team leaders. The other hiking buddies were amazing too. Not an easy task for a first time hiker but worth the experience. Be prepared for few days of body pain after hiking though lolzzz. Viators group are the best!!

I went here about less than a month ago and it honestly was the coolest waterfall I have ever seen in my life, I went with my little brother and my step dad...we all enjoyed it. The walk in total was about 4 hours but we went offroad on the way back, it is deffo a good days walk and brilliant for selfies and cool pictures, I recommend this too any passers by. I would also recommend a little village called Gower in wales about 2-3 hours away from here, there is a good walk on the worm practically on a tidal wave which we went too as well.

Andy was an excellent guide, very informative. The scenery is stunning such a diverse range of colour and shade. Of course the waterfalls were great and we even had a dip at the end

It was an awesome experience all the regular routes were easy-medium difficulty. But if you want to see everything and get down to some of the hidden parts of the waterfall it does take some skills, but doable. Definitely recommend but anyone with mobility difficulties I would reconsider vs do some hiking at home before coming here.

We'd stayed the night before in the lodge where the walk starts, great little village with a couple of nice pubs Met Andy and another couple for the walk, had a quick but informative brief before we set off The walk was amazing, the rivers, streams, rapids and indeed the waterfalls were in full flow, had a lunch break at a great little retreat, the last waterfall you actually get to walk behind which was fantastic Great day with the weather holding out for us. Andy was polite, knowledgeable and had a good sense of humour - Oh and he doesn't like sheep!!

We didn't manage to reach all of the falls as it was a really miserable day but dressed in full waterproof gear we managed several along a muddy rough path in places. Certainly a good experience and one that should not be missed starting at Pontneddfechan, parking is free on the main road layby then just follow the signed path.

Amazing waterfalls and scenery. Lunch along the river was very scenic. Only challenging thing were the muddy trails.
