Fantastic morning with the devils. Chris was a mine of information and passionate about saving these fascinating animals. So generous with his time and knowledge. Could have done with a hot chocolate after as we went on a cold day!

Fabulous, informative tour where we learnt about Tassie Devils, Spotted Quoll and Eastern Quoll. Our guide Chris shared his vaat knowledge and answered many questions. The animals were active and we were able to get some lovely photos. We then did the Joey encounter and got to meet close up with 2 of the female 11 month old Devils. Well worth the money and time. The fact that the funds go back into the conservation program makes it even more so.

What an amazing facility. The staff are doing an fantastic job with the breeding programme to reintroduce more quolls and devils into the wild to try to prevent their man-made extinction. The pens are large and well-planned and it is easy to see the animal moving around. We booked a keeper tour at 10.30am and he was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the animals and the great work they are doing at Cradle. He communicated some very detailed information about their life cycle, breeding and feeding habits and the man-made challenges they face in the wild, where populations have been decimated by settlers introduced predators like feral cats and foxes. Definitely worth a couple of hours out of your day to support this programme and facility!!

We really enjoyed our visit to Devils @ Cradle! The tour was informative, engaging, and such a great way to learn more about Tasmanian devils and the conservation work being done. The team was knowledgeable and passionate, and they explained everything in a way that was easy to follow and genuinely interesting. Seeing the devils and quolls up close was such a unique experience — they’re adorable, full of personality, and it was amazing to watch them being fed and hearing their little growls. The sanctuary itself is well‑run and you can feel how much care goes into looking after the animals. Overall, a fantastic tour and definitely worth a visit if you’re in Cradle Mountain. We left with a deeper appreciation for these animals and the people dedicated to protecting them.
