5.00Take lots of extra water! It can be hot in the summer! It’s a long day. Take some snacks with you also. You can also buy lunch at the Royal Tyrell Museum. Amin was a great driver and tour guide! He made the day really fun!

5.00This is a really good trip encompassing several varied elements of interest. A primary focus is the geological history of the Earth which is brilliantly presented at the Royal Tyrrell Museum at Drumheller. Our driver & guide was a lovely lass from Burundi who provided an excellent service and commentary of points of interest along the way. Enjoyed seeing the 'hoodoos' and a great finish at the 'Last Chance Saloon'. Thoroughly recommend this trip.

5.00Our day trip with Aziz was absolutely fantastic! The bus was filled with 13 people from all over the Globe, from Japan, USA, Quebec, Ontario and England. Aziz was an entertaining driver and tour guide who kept us laughing with his good-hearted humor and vast knowledge of all the sites we visited, as well as Alberta's history. The GPS-guided audio track was a great addition, pointing out interesting landscape features along the way. The Royal Tyrrell Museum was a highlight. We loved the VIP walk-in, which allowed us to skip the line and get right in after parking. However, two hours was not nearly enough time to explore everything. If we could change one thing, it would be to skip the quick drive-by of Wayne and allocate that time to the museum instead.Despite the rainy weather, the scenic views were incredible. Horseshoe Canyon in Drumheller offered some beautiful panoramic vistas, and we were able to walk back and forth across the Rosedale Suspension Bridge with no issues. The Hoodoos were a bit slick due to the rain, and we saw people sliding, so a word of caution: wear boots or old shoes if the weather is bad, as the bentonite clay can be very slippery. The final stop at the Last Chance Saloon in Wayne population 35, was more of a quick break for ice cream, which wasn't quite what we expected, and it reinforced our feeling that we would have preferred more time at the museum and this stop as a drive through. Overall, Aziz was a wonderful guide and driver, and we had a fun-filled day exploring these unique sites with the mixed crew of explorers!
