Heading to Otavalo we will enjoy and understand their history, traditions, gastronomy, and culture at their main square known worldwide as "Plaza de Los Ponchos", one of the most beautiful artisan markets in América.
Is a good, interesting, and cheap way to enjoy a full day trip not far from Quito and for buying local high-quality original cheap handmade Andean products or souvenirs. Accompanied by a certificated Tour Guide/Driver, an open-minded cultural ambient, good music, and nice conversations.

5.00We had a lovely day with Daniel as our guide. Prior to the trip, Daniel was informative and communicative about the days plans. The drive to Otavalo was informative and we saw beautiful sights. The market was great and we really appreciated Daniel's local connections and his guidance in the market and at Cascada de Peguche. Food was nice. Daniel was an awesome guide and highly recommend him!

5.00This was our highlight of our trip to Quito and the surroundaing area. David was wonderful. We were pleased to learn about and experience the people of Ecuador. Market was terrific. The sights and sounds were extraordinary. David was a great help in our buying experiences. Tjhe trip to the waterfall was a bonus.

5.00Loved this tour! Daniel was so knowledgeable, had great communication, and was so nice. It was really cool to this stunning lake a volcano, then the waterfall, and finally the area of Otavalo where we experienced the market (where I got an amazing painting) and ate some delicious traditional food.

5.00Our group of four signed up to do the Otavalo Market tour with Daniel after reading his rave reviews. Daniel did not disappoint. He picked us up at our hotel on time and brought us coffee and biscuits which we shared at a park along the way. Next stop was a small market and a short walk through a park to get to a beautiful waterfall where we stopped to take photos. The Otavalo Market was next. The market is very big and it's easy to lose people. Daniel managed to keep track of all of us as we wandered from vendor to vendor. He translated for us and assisted with the negotiations to get the best price possible. Everyone got some good bargains. Had lunch at a restaurant within the market. Food was delicious and very reasonable. Started heading back to Quito and Daniel dropped us off at the TeleferiQo cable car. It was almost closing time when we got there and he waited to be sure we would get in. It was a very nice day overall but Daniel really made it special. He was very personable and easy to talk to. We shared a lot of laughs in the car. He also gave us the history of the area as well as the current political climate. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be hiring Daniel!

5.00I did a tour to Otavalo market with Daniel and it was an amazing day. From the beginning he showed a lot of knowledge and a very pleasant way to share it, making you never bored. We started the tour on Lake San Pablo, where we enjoyed some cakes with coffee while admiring the landscape. Then we visited the Peguche Waterfall, on a quiet hike surrounded by nature, and finally we arrived at the famous Otavalo market, where we also toured part of the center and had lunch at a local restaurant. A complete and highly recommended experience!

5.00Daniel was a fantastic guide! I did a solo tour to the otavalo market. Daniel was super knowledgeable about the indigenous culture and tailored the tour to my interests. We also visited a local food market and tried local fruits. I highly recommend Daniel!

5.00We had an amazing day with Daniel, and would highly recommend him as a guide and Otavalo as a destination. We got to eat biscottos and fresh coffee with a wonderful view, see a beautiful wonderful, get to interact with many locals, and of course explore the traditional Otavalo market with so many high quality items and so much local culture. Daniel’s passion is obvious, and he knows so many of the locals as friends making for a wonderful day!

5.00This tour was the best way to visit the Otavalo region in one day with an experienced, informative guide. Daniel, was so knowledgeable and familiar with the history and culture of the area. He was relaxed, always giving us whatever time we wanted at the lake, the waterfalls and the market. He was friendly with many of the people at each site so we always felt safe and at home. The long drive is no fun, but if you want to see these terrific places, it's the best choice. Thank you, Daniel!
