Enjoy a beautiful sail on a 63-ft schooner around the Grand Traverse Bay. This family-friendly sail includes locally-sourced food and drinks. Help raise the sails and sit at the helm while you learn about the natural and cultural history of the region. Our Wind Dancer day cruise was a wonderful experience! The staff was professional but fun, friendly and inclusive. It was a picture perfect day in every way. The food was thoughtfully presented and delicious using many local vendors. It couldn't have been a better experience. Thank you Wind Dancer!

Upgraded to the sunset sail. It was an awesome trip around the bay. Great crew was attentive and informative. Will definitely return to sail with them in the future.

There were 8 people on our excursion. Captain Nate gave us instructions and we set off. Some of us got to help hoist the sails! It was peaceful and amazing what the wind can do, no motor, just the wind! We talked, had a snack and drinks to your liking. It was wonderful and I'd do it again!

We had a picture perfect outing. Mark, Dan and Chris were friendly and knowledgeable. They knew how to balance useful info with the time we needed as friends on this trip. The wonderful weather didn’t hurt of course but we credit the crew with making this a truly lovely afternoon for us all. Highly recommend this!

Gorgeous boat, perfectly matched for West Traverse Bay. The three owners serve as captain and crew. All have a warm and caring personality and show consideration to the passengers while expertly handling the Schooner. Easy access with free parking and excellent dockside facilities. I will be back!

The crew was great, informative, and engaging. Top marks. They should not serve salami and cheap beef sticks for lunch as it contains fat and nitrates which can make some people queezy as the boat rocks. More dried cherries and cheese, with some bread or crackers would be a much better choice. We didn't have much wind that day but the crew did an outstanding job to make the ride as enjoyable as possible. I would definitely recommend them and I will ride again with them next time I visit.

We went on the afternoon sailing trip. We had a family and friends party of 17 on the Schooner. It was a beautiful afternoon and we had a great time. Captain Marc and team were excellent in guiding us on the trip. They were very informational and flexible with us all. Drinks and snacks were a nice added touch for our afternoon. We would highly recommend.

Nate and Chris were great. Very friendly, helpful and talented! It was a beautiful sail in the bay! The snack boxes they put together were yummy! Nice variety of drinks available too!
