Madaba Mosaic Map
Departure is from Amman. After pick up from your hotel, hop into a climate-controlled vehicle with a private English-speaking driver and Wi-Fi on board. Observe and gaze at Jordan’s desert landscapes as you travel south to Madaba. The driver will assist you with places of interest and particular information on the route, however, will not act as a guide. Upon arrival, discover this ancient mosaic town with a history spanning back to the 2nd century. The most well-known is the mosaic map of Jordan and the Holy Land of the 6th century in the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George; marked with points related to historical stories mentioned in the bible.

Visit the historic Catholic Church of Saint John the Baptist, with its beautiful Bell Tower for a breath-taking view of Madaba. Visit its underground museum memorial of Saint John the Baptist. Free time to explore a mosaic workshop, if interested.

5.00Nice trip from Medaba to Mount Nebo to the baptism of Jesus Christ(extra fee) to swimming in the Dead Sea at the 5 star Holiday Inn (lunch buffet was delicious). Mohamed was my driver and he was super nice and chill and was always making sure I was having a good time, highly recommend him as a driver. We also made a stop at a shop where people with disabilities create things out of mosaics and it’s a very good cause to donate to by purchasing something while also taking back a nice souvenir from Jordan. Tour itself is a bit pricey but it is Jordan and everything is pricey 😂 highly recommend

5.00Our driver, Haj Mohammad, is very friendly and accommodating. My friends and I enjoyed the tour. We went to different churches, Mosaic Factory, Mt. Nebo, and the highlight of our tour Dead Sea (Holiday Inn Hotel). Highly recommended.

5.00This is an extremely convenient way to see all the sites. The car provided for this private tour of the sites is modern, comfortable and spacious , as well as having air conditioning. Muhammed was very friendly and accommodating of our time, and we felt safe the entire time.

Well, Ahmad is a very safe, polite and respectful driver and the itinerary is the perfect mix of some cultural activities and some relaxing hours at the dead see. Enjoy the beautiful view over the holy land, the amazing experience of taking a bath in the dead sea and some delicioud food from the buffet. I fully recommend to book this tour!

5.00Our guide/driver Omar was great! He was kind and gracious as he even went out of his way to assist us in getting our 3 girls aged 7, 2 and 2 months around the sites. The Dead Sea was breathtaking and spectacular - almost like a dream - our favorite part. I just wouldn’t recommend going there near lunch time like we did, as it was too hot. Driving around Jordan is a whole experience it itself, the terrain the art culture and history, it was like reliving history books and stories we learned from the bible. Jordan is definitely underrated - a beautiful well-preserved country with wonderful people and so much to see! Can’t wait to come back someday.
