A one-day guided tour through the main sites of the Old Kingdom:
The whole ancient history is spread over 30 dynasties. We have three groups of dynasties from 3 to 6 known as the “Old Kingdom”, 11 and 12 known as the “Middle Kingdom” and from 17 to 20 known as the “New Kingdom”.
Most monuments in Giza focus on the Old Kingdom as Memphis was the first Capital of Egypt in this time.
From Giza in the north to the south Abou Sir, Saqqara, Dahshur, Zawitelarian Maidoum; these six main archeological sites were part of the huge cemetery of the Old Kingdom.
The most important archaeological sites in this huge cemetery are the Giza Plateau, Saqqara and Dahshur.

5.00This was one of the best trips I’ve ever taken! Was in Egypt for two weeks with my best friend, and the itinerary that Karim put together was so expansive but still very reasonably priced. From Cairo, to Aswan, to Luxor, to Hurghada and back. Karim made all of the arrangements, including some really fun excursions like Red Sea/Nile River diving and snorkeling , atv tours and hot air balloon rides. He was also extremely knowledgeable and engaging at every location. You can tell there’s a real authentic passion and love for Egypt and its history. Not to mention introducing us to the food and culture in every area as well. I only wish I could’ve stayed longer and done more exploring with Karims guidance! Thanks for everything Karim!

It was an enjoyable and educational day in the gorgeous pyramids, and I will definitely recommend you to everyone visiting Egypt! Especially since people who visit without a guide don't have nearly as good of an experience as we had.

5.00I was so happy with the tour I did with Karim! I had an absolutely packed day - climbing up and down the bent pyramid and red pyramid in sakkara, seeing Memphis and dashur, and visiting Giza. Karim was a great guide, he is really passionate about the history and goes into lots of details. He ordered the day in a very particular way so that we would be able to see certain things that were only open for limited hours (which I appreciated!!) and made sure I was able to see basically 2 day's worth of touring in one day. He even bought my lunch! If you are a large group or if you have less physically fit members of your group, I would not recommend doing this entire itinerary in one day, split it into two days instead if you are planning to go inside the pyramids.The bent pyramid and red pyramid are challenging even if you are physically fit and you should be prepared with snacks, water, and electrolytes for the Egyptian heat. As a solo female traveler, I felt comfortable and safe with Karim and Mohamed (our driver). Thank you again!
