5.00I had a wonderful experience and the coordination of the border crossing was flawless. Nezima and her driver met me on the Tajikistan side of the border and showed me important sites in and around Khujand. We had an enjoyable lunch with salad, shashlik and lemon tea at an outdoor restaurant in the city. I had a wonderful time at the bazaar and Nezima helped me with the purchase of nuts and dried fruits. She also helped me with currency exchange.

5.00I had a nice day trip to Khujand. The guide was lovely, and though the time in the city was limited, I felt like I learned some meaningful aspects of Tajik culture through our conversation. I enjoyed the lunch too. A driver picked me up in the morning and took me to the border. I needed to walk across the border to connect with another driver and guide, but the process was smooth overall. Would recommend if you have limited time and would like to visit Khujand in a day.
