Madaba Mosaic Map

Visit the Christian Town of Madaba, which is known as ‘The City of Mosaics’. You will be visiting the St. George Greek Orthodox Church, where you will see the masterpiece of Madaba (a Byzantine mosaic map of the Holy Land that goes back to the 6th century, showing Jerusalem and other cities), you will also visit the Archeological Park, which houses the remains of several Byzantine churches, including the amazing mosaics of the Church of the Virgin. The park complex includes a school for the restoration and conservation of ancient mosaics.

Mount Nebo

Visiting Mt. Nebo, one of Jordan's most important holy sites, offers a historical and spiritual experience. It is believed to be where Moses saw the Promised Land and his final resting place. The site features ruins from the 4th to 6th centuries, with well-preserved mosaics in the church.

We took this private tour and it was a great experience. The price was worth it. Victoria coordinated everything perfectly, from the airport pickup with Fadid. Then, Esam, our driver and guide, made my trip very interesting. I highly recommend this agency.

Jordan is a Middle East nation with historic and scenic sites that can be explored. Madaba has a Christian Church in Madaba that has an ancient mosaic that presents a graphic map of the Holy Land. Mt Nebo is beautiful; it is the place where the Hebrew leader Moses looked out over the scenic valley and saw the promised Holy Land. Moses was punished by God for his failings and died at Mt Nebo. No-one knows where he is buried. The Franciscan Order have lovingly restored the Church. The Dead Sea is wonderful, it is one of the saltiest bodies of water on Earth, if you float in the Dead Sea, it's almost impossible to sink.

Fabulous trip! Jordan select tours is a great company which was very prompt from the time we had booked this day trip to Madaba, Mt.Nebo and the Dead Sea. The company kept us updated with the driver assigned to us, his WhatsApp contact number as well as an emergency contact number incase needed. More so, Mr. Alaa Salameh was our driver and he was also very knowledgeable and narrated the historical significance of the holy sites visited. Also, he was very prompt and was readily reachable via WhatsApp, which is very helpful so that we could enquire about the pick up etc ahead of the tour. He made our trip a very memorable one and we would highly recommend that you take this tour and ask for Mr. Alla to be assigned to your tour.

It’s was well organised and seamless. Accommodation outstanding. Our guide Hassan made all the difference , his knowledge of the history , dates and events at each place made the journeys interesting and far more informative that’s just seeing the sites . His restaurant recommendations were fantastic , there doesn’t seem a place you go where he doesn’t have a best friend .He was very generous with his time, fun great sense of humour and we miss him already. Ask for him directly if your booking you won’t be disappointed . Ask for “the code”when going to buy things . Shkran My friend

Fantastic, interesting tour of Mt. Nebo and Madaba. The mosaics were incredible, and it was a beautiful drive. My driver was Wesam, and I would highly recommend requesting him. Great combination of being extremely light hearted & personable, but very professional and extremely prompt and generous.

Taking this tour really allowed us to make the most of our one day off and get a chance to get a glimpse of all the beauty Jordan has to offer. Our driver was wonderful and did everything he could to make this a memorable experience. He helped us reorganise the day's activities to work around a bit of a morose weather and was ready to answer our many questions on Jordan's history and culture.

Jordan impressed me in the cultural, hystorical and naturally view. Country is very inspiring and defintly needs to be felt, becaise any picture can not transmite the spirit of Jordan. I am impressed with the people hospitality!
