Paying a bit more than doing it on your own, but you get to relax the whole way and let someone else brave the roads for you. Our driver (Adnan) was very friendly and knowledgeable, gave us great tips and kept us on time so we wouldn't miss anything. Nice not having to wait for a group and arriving at places before the crowds was a great experience. If you can ask for the mountain road up to The dead sea from Petra for it's superior views. Important note BRING FLIP FLOPS or water shoes as the deadsea resort water from is quite hot on the feet and rocky. Risk of hurting your feet there is not low. Very safe and water and some snacks provided. The breakfast was good (7 JOD extra out of pocket but very tasty) Having a Jordan pass really makes things move smoothly. And you will need to bring your passport.
