A beautiful turquoise lake outlined by the soaring Victoria Glacier. Calm, glassy water in summer, and a frozen skating rink in the winter. Canoes glide across the surface, with mountains create a natural amphitheater.
This lake is set deep in the Ten Peaks Valley, and shines with a beautiful shade of blue!From the Rockpile viewpoint, the entire valley opens before you - jagged peaks, thick forest, and crystal water all blend into an amazing view!
Johnston Canyon is a narrow, limestone gorge filled with rushing water, waterfalls, and suspended catwalks. The Lower Falls are intimate and powerful, while the Upper Falls rise tall and dramatic; in winter, frozen waterfalls create an icy fairy-tale feel.
Lake Minnewanka is one of Banff's most atmospheric spots. The lake has a quiet beauty, and visitors often walk along the shoreline trails, where evergreen forest meets rocky beaches and mountain views reveal themselves around every bend. Boat cruises glide across the water during the Summer months, offering a chance to see wildlife on the slopes and hear stories of the Indigenous peoples who lived along the lake for thousands of years.
Banff National Park includes a sweeping wilderness of towering mountain ranges, glacier valleys, and turquoise lakes. Wildlife wanders freely across some roads, rivers sparkle under alpine sunlight, and every turn reveals a view worthy of a postcard.

A wide, rushing cascade where the Bow River spreads out and tumbles over rocky shelves. You canwalk next to the river, feeling the rhythm and cool spray as the water accelerates toward the valley.

5.00I visited Alberta for the first time in the Summer of 2025, and my daughter encouraged me to visit Banff. I did a bit of asking around and was advised to book with Shuttle-Up Tours and I am glad I did. Booking with Shuttle-Up Tours was easy and felt very personalised. I was able to ask many questions about pricing, what to expect and touring locations in Banff. The tour guide was well-informed on the history of the place, drove very well and was very pleasant. We were able to stop and have lunch in Banff town, visited the beautiful cascade gardens just above Banff Town, Lake Louise and Lake Minnewanka just to name a few. I plan on being in Alberta soon and will definitely be booking a day tour with Shuttle-Up tours!

5.00I can’t recommend Shuttle Up Tours enough! We used their services in August 2025 for our family to tour Banff, Lake Louise, Lake Minnewanka, Peyto Lake, and Mount Norquay, and honestly, it was next-level amazing. From start to finish, everything was seamless – the shuttle was comfortable, on time, and super easy to book. But the real game-changer? Greg. He wasn’t just a tour guide; he was the heartbeat of the trip. His knowledge, energy, and passion for the Rockies made every stop unforgettable. He shared stories, insider tips, and even helped everyone snap the perfect photos. My kids were completely engaged the whole time and had the best time – they still talk about it! The views were jaw-dropping, but the experience as a whole – the vibe, the crew, the organization – made it truly unforgettable. If you’re heading to Banff or Lake Louise, do yourself a favor and book Shuttle Up Tours. Seriously, I’ll never look at a tour the same way again.
