Tiya Stelae Archeological Sites

The site contains 36 monuments, including 32 carved stelae covered with symbols, most of which are difficult to decipher. They are the remains of an ancient Ethiopian culture whose age has not yet been precisely determined.

Tour was conducted by Abe Tola. All included attractions were visited and all were worthwhile. Local guides were utilized at the Tiya Stele, Adadi Rock Hewn Church, and Melka Kunture. The roads were in terrible shape during the 5 hours of driving but were safely managed by George the driver. Abe's English was not the best but otherwise was an excellent guide.

This was the best tour of our trip. Our guide Dagi was very nice and knowledgeable. The 4x4 was welcome as some roads were gravel tracks and could be quite bumpy. A very professional tour compared to the others we did. I highly recommend them.

We did this as modified one day tour adding the new World Heritage Site at Melka Kunture. Abe and George were fantastic from first to last moment. This was a trial in a way because we plan to return to Ethiopia and visit every corner and I know we will be using this company.

This tour was fantastic. Joseph, the guide, was brilliant in explaining the background info for the sites but what made it special was his insight and explanation other Ethiopian way of life. The food was excellent typical Ethiopian food and we had a great laugh with the driver and the guide. Go on this trip if you want a flavour of the real Ethiopia!

We had an amazing experience exploring the Tiya Stele and the Cave Churches of Adadi Maryam. Our guide, Yihun, was incredibly knowledgeable, providing fascinating insights into the history and culture of the area. Sisay, our driver, was professional and navigated the roads with ease. Together, they made this day tour truly unforgettable. Highly recommend this duo for anyone visiting Addis Ababa!

Both driver and guide were helpful and friendly. For the Adi mariam tour it takes around 7/8 ,hours and it starts at 8am. This agency is professional

Abreham and Sisay from Aman Tours ensured I had a great day. Sisay drove with skill and consideration, and Abreham was knowledgeable and tailored the tour to what I wanted. A really delightful day getting to see a little of Ethiopia. I highly recommend these two as tour guides.

Best time, people, pictures, guides, time of my life! I've got to be honest the first day we arrived to Addis it was somehow shocking. But we found out the real magic around Ethiopia. It's not in the cities it's in their surroundings, the nature and the people. We were picked up by Shasha and Neway (the best) and they were so kind yet full of knowledge that they made us feel as part of their family. They know the perfect spots to take photos and the people to get what you need. After this day trip we decided to go all along with them in a 3 days tour into the magical coffee lands (unbelievable) If you're going to Ethiopia this is the company you are looking for. Great value but foremost great people.

A great way to spend a one-day layover. My guide Newey was friendly and full of interesting history and facts, and my driver Sis was skillful, patient, and charming. A great day!
