Manasija Monastery
You will be impressed by the beautiful scenery, while you enjoy 1.5-hour drive to our first stop – Manasija Monastery, located among the green hills of the vivid Resava gorge. It was built in early 15th century during the reign of Despot Stefan Lazarevic. The whole complex is surrounded by 12 towers, constructed in order to protect Church of Saint Trinity from the Ottomans. The Manasija monastery fortification, with its ramparts and towers, is the best preserved fortification complex on the territory of medieval Serbia. Due to its fresco paintings, which represent one of the greatest achievements of the medieval Serbian art, monastery is believed to be a real jewel of Serbian medieval culture.

Milan has kept us safe on the roads all day long and Nina talked us through all insights and knowledge of Serbia, the stops on the Tour and whatever we wanted to know. 5.00I had an amazing day with Nina and Milan. Nina was knowledgeable and positive throughout the whole day, and Milan was a fantastic driver. Even though it was raining the whole day, Nina and Milan made our group comfortable, and we soon came to feel like a family. I highly recommend this tour.

5.00We did the Gems of Eastern Serbia day trip from Belgrade and it turned out to be one of the most memorable days of our trip. It’s a long day with multiple stops, and we had cold, rainy weather in the morning, but everything still ran smoothly and on time. The itinerary is well planned and gives you a chance to see places you wouldn’t get to on your own. Jelena was our guide and she did a great job explaining the history and keeping the group engaged throughout the day. You can tell she really knows the region and enjoys what she does. Our driver, Ljuba, was also excellent. Always giving us a hand to get in and kut the van, giving us liquids, being humurous. We stopped for local food and had a rakija tasting, which was a fun part of the experience. Just be prepared for a full day and some walking, and dress for the weather. Overall, a very well organized tour with knowledgeable guides and a chance to explore a different side of Serbia. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting to get outside Belgrade for the day.

5.00Serbia Inspired Tours gave me an experience that far exceeded our expectations. From start to finish, their communication, attention to detail and punctuality were absolutely flawless. My guide was Jelena and Ljuba was the driver. They were truly exceptional. Despite a cold, rainy early morning, she showed up with the warmest, most genuine smile. Her knowledge, passion, and storytelling brought every stop to life. She carried the energy of the entire day effortlessly, never missing a beat. I was genuinely impressed by how kind, altruistic, and authentic she is. It made the experience feel personal, not just another tour. Our driver Ljuba was wonderful too. A gentle, professional man with a great sense of humor that added to the day. And of course, the rakija, oh the rakiya tasting was a highlight :-) We even crash onto someone's party at the restaurant they took us to eat. This tour is something special. Incredible sites, rich history and great local food. It’s definitely an off-the-beaten-path experience, so come prepared to walk, explore, and learn a lot. Absolutely worth it. Highly recommend.

5.00Great experience hosted by Milan and Miroslav, amazing depth of knowledge, delivered with enthusiasm and fun. The stopping points on the tour were very interesting and beautiful, we had a delicious local meal, everything ran like clockwork. Would highly recommend this tour and our wonderful guides!!

5.00The tour was great! We had a really beautiful sunny day and we visited different and unique places. Nina the guide was really awesome! Funny, kind, informative, patient and really lovely! Also the driver Milan, which produces his own Rakia, gave us some tastes and we really enjoyed it! Generally there was a great atmosphere!

5.00I have done multiple day-trip tours through tripadvisor in the past, but this was one of the best organized and valuable tours I have done. Our driver was Milan. He was a cool guy and a safe driver. I deeply appreciated that he shared his hobby with us. Our tour guide was Yelena. She was the best tour guide I have had in any country without contest. Her knowledge as well as ability to explain Serbian history and culture were impressive. She was easy to understand and fun. I learned so much more about Serbia than what was simply listed in the itinerary, though solely learning about the sites in the itinerary would make the trip worth it. Quality people like Yelena and Milan make Serbia Inspired Tours great. Additionally, communication prior to the trip with Serbia Inspired Tours was helpful without wasting time with needless information. It was great to know ahead of time where we would be going and how many places accept cards vs only cash.
