A relaxing day in Romania!

Is a small group full day tour from Bucharest to Transylvania on a very picturesque route through the Carpathian Mountains allowing you to discover two of the most beautiful Romanian castles - Peles Castle & Bran (Dracula's) Castle - as well as the city of Brasov in south Transylvania.

We have enough time for pictures and have lunch in a Romanian restaurant if you wish.

The price is for the whole group.

Peles Castle is a Neo-Renaissance castle in the Carpathian Mountains, near Sinaia, in Prahova County, Romania, on an existing medieval route linking Transylvania and Wallachia, built between 1873 and 1914. Its inauguration was held in 1883. It was constructed for King Carol I. Public visits are made within guided tours. One of the tours is limited to the ground floor, another adds the first floor and the complete tour includes the second floor.

Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle)

Bran Castle, situated near Bran and in the immediate vicinity of Brasov, is a national monument and landmark in Romania. The fortress is situated on the border between Transylvania and Wallachia. The castle is now a museum dedicated to displaying art and furniture collected by Queen Marie. Tourists can see the interior on their own or by a guided tour. At the bottom of the hill is a small open-air museum park exhibiting traditional Romanian peasant structures (cottages, barns, etc.) from across the country.

I booked a private tour so I could have my own timings and stops without being dependent of the rest of the group. My guide Nicki was excellent. He made a difference and it was a great day. We made the most of all the places we visited.

Nico was a fantastic guide, he recommended an early start to avoid heavy traffic, was extremely knowledgeable on history and sights, spoke great English and recommended a fantastic local restaurant for lunch! We would highly recommend this tour.

Liviu was an amazing guide, we saw all of this beautiful tour without being rushed and learned so much about the history of Romania, we absolutely loved every stop, such a beautiful country... We felt very safe and really enjoyed it. Would highly recommend this tour

Our guide picked us up from our hotel and brought us to all the places described here. He always made sure we were comfortable and having a great time. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone.

Amazing day tour! Our guide was very nice, great talker, explained a lot about the history of Romania and the places we were visiting. He also adapted the itenerary to make a stop specially for our kids!

The scenery was fantastic. We loved Dracular's Castle. Our guide was fabulous. So knowledgeable and really took care of us.

Liviu was a great tour guide! The trip was a few hours, so he made sure to stop for restroom breaks. He took us everywhere expected and more. We stopped at a great scenic viewpoint on the way to Bran Castle. He was very patient with us while we were in Bran Castle. We then went to lunch in the National Park, which was beautiful. We then walked around Brasov and saw the Black Church. Next we went back to Sinaia to see Peles Castle. It was closed that day (it was a Monday), but we went into the gardens and saw it. Liviu was so considerate that even though the tour was supposed to last 8 - 9 hours, it lasted almost 14.

Liviu is a great guide. We was very considerate and knowledgeable. We went on a Monday, so Peles castle was closed, but he took us to a great spot in the garden that evening where we could take pictures of the castle. He also took us to Bran castle, Brasov, and the National Park, where we had a great Romanian lunch. During the drive he stopped at a great viewpoint for pictures. He never rushed us. The tour was supposed to last 8-9 hours but it ended up being almost 14 because he wanted to make sure we had a great experience.

Want to know the castle of dracula, its history, visit the castle temporary residence of Vlad Tepes located on the outskirts of Brasov. It does not retain the theatrical touch as it was embellished by the queen. It disappoints that it is not the castle they use for dracula films as this is three hours away.
