A long day, with a lot of travelling, but worth it. Be prepared for a twelve hour trip, with queues at the border. Our guide, "Metroman", was very knowledgable and friendly. He gave us updates on our itinerary and his time management was excellent (essential as this was a long day). Our party was delayed at the border, but he was very efficient and kept us informed.

We had a wonderful tour with Dimi (hope I'm spelling that correctly). He had excellent, clear English (and I say that as an English teacher and native speaker) and gave a lot of interesting information about all of the sites were visited. The tour was well organized from the beginning and we left on time. We loved the places we visited and the lunch was really fantastic (and very vegetarian-friendly - yay!). The driver did a great job driving safely. This was a great way to see part of a whole new country on a day trip.

A very good option to get to know Armenia if you don't have time. The super nice guide Deme guided us, took care of us and taught us everything he could. Very, very rich and abundant food

I enjoyed exploring the monasteries and learning about their history. The Armenian cuisine was the cherry on the cake.
