Explore the world famous BULGARIAN UFO - the Buzludzha monument.

This is a half-day tour to Buzludzha and Shipka. You get picked from Veliko Tarnovo and we head to Buzludzha monument, which is located in Stara Planina (less than a 100km away from Tarnovo).

At the Buzludzha monument, you won't be able to get inside, as it is forbidden by the government, but you will get to sneak peak inside and explore it from as close as possible. You get more than a 30 minutes rest time at the monument, which you can use freely.

At the Shipka Monument, you'll be able to explore both the area and the monument itself freely, as it is open to the public. You’ll have around 20 minutes to walk around the monument, take in the stunning panoramic views, and feel the deep historical significance of this site.

In addition, you can add extra time to your tour, so you could visit more landmarks on the way.

We will give you the opportunity to learn the maximum about the monument and it's cultural spirit.

I highly recommend this company. On January I was in Bulgaria and wanted to make a tour through Buzludzha, Shipka and several nearby places, which are not so touristy; I was travelling alone and in low season, so it was very difficult to get a tour, and most of all at a reasonable price. I got in touch with them through WhatsApp and from the first moment they had the best predisposition, they offered me a personalized tour, at an affordable price and they fulfilled everything they promised. The driver arrived on time, was really friendly, patient with the stops I wanted to make and the photographs, he offered me full cooperation, and the tour went just as I expected, place by place. They were even really kind to leave me at the end in a town that was not in the original route so I could take a bus to continue my trip. Don't hesitate to contact them, I absolutely recommend this tour, thanks a lot to them!

I recently embarked on a tour to the Buzludzha Monument in Veliko Tarnovo, and it was an experience beyond compare. The journey began with a scenic drive through the picturesque Bulgarian countryside, setting the tone for what was to come. Excellent organized, great communication. Very friendly, nice guides. Originally we only wanted to go to Buzludzha at short notice, but then - after explanation of possible options by the guide - decided to make several stops on the way there. Had we had more time available, we would have booked even more tours here - top!

We did the half day trip to Shipka and Buzludzha and also the off road safari to Arbanasi with Damien. This was one of the highlight of our time in Bulgaria! Damien is very passionate about his work and gave us a lot of information on the history of Bulgaria. We had a lot of fun and would definitely recommended people to join the tour when they are in Veliko Tarnovo.

Now the Buzludzha is forbidden to enter, and there is a guard outside. But the buiiding (or ruins) itself is still amazing. The guide was friendly and told us a lots about Bulgaria.
