From the end of November to the middle of April, it may not be possible to visit Stepantsminda(Kazbegi), and Gergeti Trinity Church. The government occasionally closes the roads to these areas for safety reasons. This is beyond our control. We'd like your understanding, as your safety is our top priority.

5.00The tour guide is Maria, a cheerful and cheerful girl, who likes to communicate with every member of the group, each attraction gives enough time to take photos, the driver's name is forgotten, but his driving technique is very good, fast and smooth, the vehicle is very comfortable, the arrangement is compact, and we bought natural honey. 4.00It's a long 12-hr excursion from Tbilisi and the itinerary includes places far north near Russia. But worth it, as the Caucasus mountains did not disappoint. Wow, they are so grand and spectacular! No difficult walking involved as I can say. There are several stops for scenic spots during the day, so there're no hunger or washroom issues. I particularly appreciate the timely and clear WhatsApp message exchanges with the operator before, during and after the tour. Anna was our tour guide who is polite, helpful and nice. The driver drove carefully and did his job. The van has a rather odd design with a booth behind the driver. That means, 1 or 2 passengers have to sit in the opposite direction of the car motion. I suppose many people may not be able to accept it physically. Lunch was well arranged too and guests were requested to choose from the menu in advance so that we didn't have to wait for long in the restaurant. Price for one dish for the main is USD15-20 on average exclusive of drink. Last but not least, there's one thing for improvement. In Qazbegi, all people have to change to another 4WD cars (5 passengers for one car except the driver) for the curvy roads on the mountains. Those cars, and their drivers, are sub-contractors of our tour operator I suppose. The driver of my 4WD car is a warrior (as many taxi drivers I encountered in Tbilisi city centre) who drove very fast on the curvy roads until one male passenger of my car shouted at the driver to ask him to stop immediately. No seat belts were installed at the other seats. Only I had seat belt installed and I wore (I took the front seat beside the driver). The driver didn't wear seat belt although it's available at his seat. There're safety concerns and I think the operator should be more prudent in selecting the sub-contractors. Overall, I have a good time.

5.00Great day trip. The stops are well picked out and the mountains are beautiful. Elle was an amazing guide and very knowledgeable about all the sights. If you get car sick easily, then the drive up to the church is a lot. Overall, would strongly recommend!

5.00Had an incredible time in the mountains with Shoti - such a fab guide who explained everything clearly and answered all our questions with good humour. Highly recommend and make sure you do the 4WD to the top as it’s well worth it!

5.00This was my second tour from Tbilisi with Gamarjoba, and like the first one it was excellent! The tour covers very different monasteries in Georgia compared to Armenia, with more stunning scenery the further north we went. Ananuri Fortress was also interesting to learn about the history, and also had lovely views of the reservoir. Tota was my guide again, and as before was brilliant... gave lots of explanation at each site and was able to keep us all engaged and happy. It's a long day tour, but definitely worth it to explore and experience the beautiful Georgian countryside!
