Brilliant experience, visting varied places that are not on the typical tourist trail. The Katskhi Pillar is something that you have to experience in person, and was the main reason for booking the tour, but our highlight was the Mghvimevi Monastery. A beautiful, peaceful experience in a church carved into the rock. Lana, the guide, is from the region, and on the way back to Tbilisi she got us some grapes and snacks from her mother's house. Such a lovely touch! Thank you Lana and Alex!
