First, have a stroll in the oldest private garden in Korea. This garden has attracted an array families, friends, couples and photographers frequently to explore the variety of festivals held throughout the year.

Afterwards, visit Nami Island, famous for its beautiful tree lined roads, you can enjoy the island by walking at your own pace or rent a bike and cycle around. The island was used as the filming location for the famous Korean drama “Winter Sonata”.

Then take a scenic ride on the rail bike and enjoy the beauty of Han River at Gangchon Railbike, an old train track in the beautiful countryside that has been converted into a serene rail bike track.

This tour includes entrance fees and transportation in an air-conditioned coach/minivan as well as a small briefing from the knowledgeable staff.

The tour guide lets you roam around on your own so it’s not really guided which is okay I guess. Not worth the price you’re paying for. If it wasn’t for the rail bike I wouldn’t recommend it

Nami Island day trip with the Garden of the morning calm is an amazing trip. Hera, out tour guide is fun and knowledgeable and very helpful! The recommended restaurant is authentic Korean food. The bike rail is an added adventure with beautiful scenic route.

This experience far exceeded our expectations and was one of the highlights of our trip! The Garden of Morning Calm was absolutely stunning, Nami Island was both fun and unique, and we even got to zipline to the island instead of taking the boat—which was such an unforgettable way to arrive. Lunch was delicious, and we ended the day with the rail bikes, which was the perfect way to take in the scenery and unwind. The best part of the entire day, though, was our tour guide, June. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming. You could tell she genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a great experience. I can’t recommend this tour enough, and I truly hope you get to experience it with June as your guide!
