First, have a stroll in the oldest private garden in Korea. This garden has attracted an array families, friends, couples and photographers frequently to explore the variety of festivals held throughout the year.
Afterwards, visit Nami Island, famous for its beautiful tree lined roads, you can enjoy the island by walking at your own pace or rent a bike and cycle around. The island was used as the filming location for the famous Korean drama “Winter Sonata”.
Then take a scenic ride on the rail bike and enjoy the beauty of Han River at Gangchon Railbike, an old train track in the beautiful countryside that has been converted into a serene rail bike track.
This tour includes entrance fees and transportation in an air-conditioned coach/minivan as well as a small briefing from the knowledgeable staff.

5.00I would highly recommend this tour. The Garden of Morning calm was beautiful and peaceful. Next we headed to Nami island. You take a 5 min ferry to Nami Island which was incredible with the autumn foliage. Plus if you area K-drama follower, Winter Sonata was filmed here and there are a couple of tribute spots. (Of note before taking the ferry, we were given options re lunch). The one personal recommendation I would have considered differently was that we had a choice of eating at a restaurant together with the group or you could choose to go to Nami Island individually on your own as there are also good places to eat there. We chose to eat with the group but found the food to be just ok but not that special as there was only one main choice (its fine if you like to cook stir fried chicken at your table, and you can choose your degree of spicyness plus you can order sides. Most people seemed content with lunch (but I would have preferred to go separately to Nami island, have more time on there, plus have more individual food choices at other restaurants (again we were given a choice and this was my own preference). Otherwise this tour was great and the tour guide Jonathan was wonderful, kind, clear about time limitations to keep us on track, he spoke great English and he was funny too. We also had a great time on the rail bikes- it wasn’t too difficult (fairly flat).

4.00Rail bike and Nami were not exciting and not worth the trip. GArden of Morning Calm was nice. Guide was organized and kept everyone together. She made sure we were on time at each destination given the amount of crowd and traffic

1.00We had a very bad experience, first thing in the morning when I approached the guide tourSherry and tried to show my voucher, she started yelling at me that my voucher did not have my name , before this she yell at my husband as well , during the trip she did not explain anything about the places that we were visiting, this tour was basically transportation and tickets , guide did not contributed anything , trip lasted more than 11 hours , she did not allow eating in the bus , we spent over 6 hours inside bus without food. The two places visited , was more like a park for locals to go spend sometime outside , not for a tourist coming from abroad . Whole experience was very unpleasant mainly due to rude Sherry . Also she basically spoke Chinese and the few things in English we could barely understand. Sherry should get other type of job , she is unhappy being a tour guide.

She shared a lot of information with us, she gave us very useful tips, her English was perfect!! She was friendly, professional, entertaining, useful and efficient.
