Our family (kids ages 8 and 9) loved this trip with William. It’s a long day but totally worth it. William did a wonderful job of telling us all about the Maya city, rituals and history. It fun, active and educational!

This is a very popular destination, so quite crowded. Our guide Reyes not only kept us all together but made sure we were absorbed in the cultural history throughout the day. This was an intimate introduction into a vanished culture.

What a great day even with some rain and limited long distance view! MayaWalk Tours was fantastic and highly recommended! Our drivers Walter and Jaheem were great and Jaheem even gave a small gift of my favorite Marie Sharps hot sauce! Nice touch! Rony, our tour guide was amazing! Very informative about Tikal and past and current culture and politics during the Mayan era and modern Guatemala. Tikal was expansive and fascinating! Climbing the temples to see the views from above was worth all the steps. We had the best day! The lunch at a local restaurant on the way back was delicious and authentic. Visiting Guatemala was a definite highlight and we want to see more of the country in the future. Thank you for the memories!

Seamless transition from pick up to drop off in Guatemala to head to Tikal. Tikal itself was amazing. Probably the best Mayan ruins I’ve ever seen. It’s incredible how you can climb a bunch of the structures to this day. I loved seeing temples above the trees from the tops of other temples or pyramids.

The Tikal part of the tour was great but I was expecting a bit more during our drive to and from Tikal to San Ignacio. The driver and guide made no efforts to engage with our group during the drive. Once in Tikal, the same guide shared a lot of interesting facts and brought us to some really nice part of this very big park so in the end we had a great day. The restaurant we stopped at on the way back was great and there was plenty of options to chose from.

We had a great time! They were punctual and friendly. Our kids loved it and the guide was really good about waiting for us and our small children’s pace. Lunch was delicious and the transportation and broader crossing was smooth and easy. Would book with them again!

Whole experience was well worth the cost. The guide and drivers were fantastic and helpful through all stages. Our guide Regge was super knowledgeable about Mayan culture and nature around Tikal. Lunch was also top notch

Highly recommend this tour when visiting Belize. You get the opportunity to go up most temples/pyramids. It was quick and easy transport. We got picked up at hotel and got dropped off at the border who Walter proceed to pick us up and take us to the guide. Highly recommend this tour.

MayaWalk Tours did a great job on our recent visit to San Ignacio, Belize! We did two day trips with them. The first day, we went cave tubing and zip lining, and also visited the Xunantunich ruins. Our guide Edeoni was very friendly and knowledgeable. We learned a lot about Mayan history and he even climbed Xunantunich with us to explain the carvings in detail. He pulled our cave tubes through the entire river so we could relax and enjoy the scenery. The zip lining was safe and fun. The second day we did a day trip to Tikal and the Belize/Guatemala transitions were very smooth. Our guide Reggie quizzed us on Mayan Math and talked a lot about the history of Tikal. MayaWalk Tours also drove us to and from Belize City and the rides were very smooth. I highly recommend MayaWalk Tours to anyone visiting the San Ignacio area of Belize!
