Although the weather was rainy we had a very good time with tour guide Richard. I recommend taking this tour, including the boat trip, because we had an opportunity to see the nearby villages and beautiful Amsterdam through the canals.

This Viator tour is a great and compact way to visit 3 or 4 picturesque Dutch towns that it would otherwise be difficult and time consuming to reach by train or bus. Our guide, Patricia, was knowledgeable and personable and always willing to answer any questions. Our driver Kasper was excellent as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my day, although I would have appreciated a bit more time at Zaanse Schans, as there is so much more to see there than just the beautiful windmills but not enough time.

It was a fun excursion and guide was very knowledgeable. We did not see anywhere we would have the opportunity to grab lunch but may have missed it but want to make that more known.

It was a good tour, Zaanse Schans is a must see, I wish there was more time at Volendam as lunch took much longer than anticipated even though we went to the fastest restaurant according to our tour guide. I understand they will not do this due to the name but Edam can be completely skipped. Our tour guide gave enough information and we learned quite a bit. Overall, I would suggest this tour to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

Tourist trap. No explanations given on the history. Seems wrong the tour guide was from Spain. Heard a lot of things were no longer what they were intended to be, i.e. was a dam that is no longer a dam, was a church that was no longer a church, was a cheese factory that is no longer...
