Lincoln Memorial
You will also see the grand Lincoln Memorial, a monument which was constructed to honor President Abraham Lincoln, the 16th United States president. The monument towers over the Reflecting Pool, in the western end of the National Mall.
Vietnam Veterans Memorial
You will pass by the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, a 2-acre national memorial which pays tribute to the members of the U.S Armed Forces who fought in the Vietnam War and were killed or missing in action. The memorial is made up of three separate parts: the Three Soldiers statue, the Vietnam Women’s Memorial and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial War, considered the most popular feature.

The area we were supposed to meet at was closed for repairs, so while I was looking for her phone number to ask where to go, she was calling me! great service :-) Very knowledgeable and patient. Timed everything perfectly, would highly recommend Rebecca for this as well as any tour!

She showed pertinent pictures on her IPad and had great knowledge of all that we saw, giving interesting tidbits along the way. She had time for all questions and gave us helpful hints for other sites.

5.00We had such a wonderful experience on this walking tour of the Washington DC monuments and memorials! Annemarie was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly informative—sharing not just the history, but also stories that brought the sites to life. The pace was perfect, never rushed, and she made sure everyone felt engaged and comfortable. What really stood out was how much she went above and beyond. She gave us great local tips and food recommendations for the rest of our stay, and even offered to take our picture—a thoughtful touch that made for a much better memory than our usual selfies. This tour was a great way to start our trip, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting DC!
