The mountain biking tour starts early in the morning 7:30 a.m. Then go by transport to “La Cumbre” (1hr. from La Paz), which is the starting point. TOUR DESCRIPTION Leg 1: This is a 22 km downhill on asphalt (tarmac) road. At the police checkpoint (after 45 min.) all tourists pay Bs. 50 for the entrance to the national park. This first section is for you to develop confidence and get used to the bike. Do not worry, the safety van is always behind the group and we have stops for water, photos and bike checks. Leg2: “Death Road” about 10 Km. Leg 3: About 32 Km. it starts with a waterfall splash!! Finally, the end of the tour is in Yolosa, so the next stop is in a hotel with showers, a swimming pool, and a lunch as well. At approximately 03:30 p.m. it´s time to go back to La Paz driving through the new road. BIKE DESCRIPTION Bike: Full suspension bike with hydraulic disk brakes.

5.00I had a great time riding the death road! Luis was an awesome guide, spoke very well English and Spanish! We had great banter together with him and the rest of the group! After the ride, we had time to socialize, have something to drink before our lunch at a resort! I would definitely recommend this tour with Luis!

5.00This was such a fun day. The scenery was breathtaking, and the cycling so exhilarating. Our guide Waldo was fantastic along with our driver Pato. We would definitely recommend this experience

1.00This company was very disorganized. They didn't pick me up, and I had to call them multiple times. The reason why they didn't pick me up was unclear. Finally, the came to pick me up around 11am, the guide didn't even provide me breakfast and snacks. The Inti company was very unreliable. There are many local tour companies that are cheaper in La Paz. It is unnecessary to book the tours in advance. Please do not use any tours provided by Inti travel.
