Road to Hana Tours
In just 5-6 hours one can experience a great variety of attraction on this glorified road. View the north shore, surfers and waves. Visit Rainbow Eucalyptus trees and Bamboo thickets. Explore a native Hawaiian village and coastal tide pools. Walk amongst the rainforest's flora and fauna. Jump into a pool with a cascading waterfall (swimming optional). Enjoy home made banana bread and other local treats. This excursion is perfect for those who seek a half day time frame or have young children in their group. It would be our pleasure to guide you!

5.00Our halfway to Hana was perfect! Yvonne was our fun guide and she showed us just what we wanted to see, especially her favorite animals, Georgie Boy and Casper! Highly recommend this or other Holo Holo tours.

5.00Kea was our tour guide. An incredibly knowledgeable and smart individual. We had a full road to Hanna journey. We stopped at all the. beautiful places. We stopped at the chocolate farm , several waterfalls, etc. We really really really enjoyed Kea. Car was very comfortable. It was absolutely war to the price. Highly recommend the company highly recommend KEA a tour guide.

5.00What an incredible experience! I did the private Deluxe Halfway to Hana tour departing from Kahului with guide Gus, and it was simply the highlight of our Maui trip. In a comfortable car, we stopped at the most beautiful spots along the Road to Hana—hidden waterfalls, black sand beaches, and breathtaking views—without the rush of group tours. What made all the difference was Gus's contagious friendliness, his genuine love for Hawaii, and his deep knowledge of local stories. He didn't just take us to the places; he shared ancient Hawaiian legends, myths about the islands' formation, and fun facts that turned the outing into a lively and engaging lesson. Every stop turned into an animated conversation, like we were hanging out with a local friend. And the most pleasant surprise? Discovering that Gus is Brazilian! In the middle of Hawaiian paradise, finding a fellow countryman as a guide was an unexpected gift—he explained everything in fluent Portuguese, making it so much easier and helping us feel even more at ease. Who would have thought we'd find a Brazilian leading tours in Maui? Oh, and I can't fail to mention: Maui's banana bread is the best I've ever tasted in my life! Gus took us to a secret spot where they serve this warm, irresistible treat—a delight worth every bite. I recommend it with eyes closed for anyone wanting a personalized and unforgettable tour. 5.00I had booked a previous tour with Holo Holo and it was such a wonderful experience, I knew I had to go again. I was with a friend who had never been before and when we jumped in the convertible Bronco and took the top down to see the sights along the road to Hana, my friend was hooked. Everything we saw was breathtaking and our guide was the sweetest, kindest individual you could wish for. She was a local girl who loves her home, and made us fall in love with it too. She had so much knowledge of plants, animals and just overall knowledge of the area that we could ask her anything and we did! Best tour of the week! Highly recommend.

5.00Yvonne was amazing guide on our road to Hana. She took us to some great spots, shared history and we ate some of the best chicken I have ever had. She knew all the best spots and she to visit them when the crowds would be low. Great job and highly recommend Yvonne in the future

5.00A wonderful day touring the Road to Hana. Travelling with two kids the most important things to follow are comfortability and safety, as the road to Hana is a long full day journey. Kia was very helpful from the beginning, driving very safely and giving us all the information. Full day was fun and we visited all the attractions and highlights on the road. I suggest Holo Holo to whoever wants to do the Hana road trip.

5.00Did the Taste of Hana (halfway to Hana) this week with my 2 young adult kids, and had a wonderful time!!! Yvonne our guide/driver was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, experienced, AND a great driver (which was a significant 'comfort zone' priority for us on this road :) She (literally) knew every twist and turn, scenic spot, and points of interest, answered all our questions, and served as our photographer. The perfect wrap up to our week on Maui--I just wish we were staying longer so we could have made use of the many other local recommendations she had to offer!
