Great organisation from go to whoa. Communication excellent, ticket exchange from email voucher prompt. Details where to meet clear. Best tour we’ve had so far in Japan. Plenty of time in both Gokayama & Shirakawago. There was a traffic jam so our bus went another way to get to the tour bus carpark. Excellent coordination. Guide & driver great. Lots of info from history to where to eat, route to take around Gassho houses & anything after if you wanted. Five star!!

This tour was a lovely way to see the beautiful, mountainous Japanese countryside and get a glimpse of old, rural Japan. The villages were delightful and the guide was knowledgeable. The bus was comfortable and modern.

Great way to visit Shirakawa-go with a bus tour. The guide explained in both English and Japanese about the 2 areas we visited during the drive. Good use of time and it was self-guided tour once we reached the 2 towns. Probably could use one more hour in Shirakawa-go. It was lovely with snow (we visited on March 30th).

  • An easy, fantastic way to explore a unique part of Japan

I highly recommend this experience. The organizing company made everything very easy and our tour guide was fantastic - she explained everything very clearly on the coach and then we had plenty of time to explore the two locations. The driver was also fantastic and they patiently waited for us to return. These villages are beautiful - very unique. The second location was, as expected, crowded, but our guide made some excellent suggestions and we had plenty of time to explore, visit major sites, and even grab a great cup of coffee! Overall this is a fantastic choice to explore this unique region of Japan.
