Devil's Pool is open during the drier months of the year, usually between mid August and mid January, when the Zambezi water levels are low enough for swimmers to take the plunge.

5.00The organisation of the tour was top notch and my guide Jonas was professional, friendly and humble. I enjoyed everything and Most importantly it was worth my money and time, Emmanuel was good at organising everything he is the best and very reliable, I will forever recommend them

5.00Absolutely phenomenal tour operator — Emmanuel went above and beyond in every possible way. He was punctual, professional, and incredibly responsive. When I requested a pickup transfer on very short notice, he managed to arrange everything within 15 minutes. I also did the Devil’s Pool tour, which ended up being my absolute favorite highlight of the entire trip. I was so nervous beforehand, but Emmanuel reassured me, and explained that I would have a great experience. I ended up having an incredible, unforgettable experience. Not only did he ensure a smooth drop-off at the airport, but he also arranged a quick, unforgettable photo opportunity to see the white rhino — a sighting that doesn’t just “happen.” He truly made that moment possible, and it became one of the most special moments of my journey. I wish I had found Emmanuel earlier because I would have booked all my tours with him across Livingstone and Botswana. Reliable, and someone who truly cares about creating once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Highly, highly recommend- thank you Emmanuel!

5.00I booked all my activities in Zambia through Cherish Travels and Tours, including airport transfers — and everything went smoothly, even beyond my expectations. Every activity I wanted to do, they made it happen, and they went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. They also assisted me with my Botswana visa, which I never expected would be so easy. Thanks to their help, I was able to visit Chobe National Park, something I thought might not be possible on this trip. It turned out to be a wonderful experience! The entire team at Cherish Travels and Tours was incredibly helpful and professional. They truly made my time unforgettable and stress-free. I highly recommend this company to anyone visiting Zambia — and I will definitely choose them again if I return. Thank you for making my trip so memorable!

5.00What an experience! Emmanuel went out of his way to tailor-fit the day tour based on traveler's availability. Seamless experience, he facilitates everything, changes vehicles according to one's needs, gives honest advice and recommendation, and is a great communicator. Went to Angel's Falls instead of Devil's Pool (because that section was closed) but it was equally majestic! Guests don't have to worry about all transport (point to point from your hotel to wherever your tour is then back to your hotel or airport). Highly recommend Cherish Travel and Tours, excellent tour agency/guides.

5.00Recently used Cherish Travel and Tours for the Devils Pool excursion - great experience overall. They were very flexible in accommodating the large group of us even as we made changes to the booking numerous times. The driver was also great and helped some of our group get to another drop off location (different then our hotel where everyone else was dropped off) so they could complete another activity in the area. Would definitely reccomend!

5.00We got lucky to encounter Emmanuel by chance as he met us at the Zambia/Zimbabwe border and took us to our hotel. He showed up early and in a tie. He was the utmost professional in every way! We had booked the devil's pool excursion through another company and when no one showed up to pick us up I WhatsApped Emmanuel and he had it straightened out and picked us up within 20 mins of my text! We also booked a city tour and village tour with him as well as our airport transfer. He was so flexible and never hesitated to accommodate extra requests for stops. We also needed a box to pack some of the goods we bought at the market (they're harder to come by in Africa than we realized) and Emmanuel found us one during his off time and then went and found us tape at the airport. He made our time in Zambia the most smooth of our entire 3 weeks in Africa. I could not give a higher recommendation for this company and Emmanuel specifically!
