  This was a great excursion. Our guide, Jarka, was extremely knowledgeable and gave us great information for the entire trip. The castle is impressive and the exhibit about the Iron Curtain and Cold War is a must see.

  Jarka was a wonderful guide, with extensive historical and cultural knowledge. She was a fantastic host during both of our days/tours in Bratislava. The views from the castle were spectacular and she also found some alternative wine selections for the tasting to match our preferences. Thank you!

  Over the weekend, my family from Germany and I took a trip to Devin Castle and I have to say it was worth it. A kind lady guide greeted us in front of the hotel and we waited with her for the car that took us to Devin. We also visited the Devin winery, where we were introduced to various types of wine.

  We used the services of this company. Our tour started at the Sheraton Hotel, where a driver picked us up and then took us to Devín Castle. The view from Devín Castle was beautiful, and afterward, we visited an ancient wine cellar, where we had a tasting of several types of wine (Devín currant wine). Our guide told us about the history of this place, and the wine was excellent. Our foreign colleagues especially enjoyed it. Thank you for a great experience. Peter

  To start- the tour guide was so sweet and nice and knowledgeable. I booked with 3 friends and she came to us and called a taxi to take us to the castle. It was about a 15 min ride which would be a cheap taxi. Castle admission was $8 so this was a very overpriced excursion. Wine tasting is a lie- they just give you 2 glasses. We did not have enough time to drink both and there was no info given on the wine. Not in castle- on the side of a small building nearby. Photos are fake in listing.

  It was a good experience. My guide went above and beyond to make sure I had a good time. Because of the holiday some things were not open.

  First off, our guide was very informative and she worked hard to provide a great experience for us despite other mishaps. We would give her 5 stars. However everything considered, the overall rating is going to be lower. We got to the meeting point very early and as it approached our tour time we started getting worried because we didn't see anyone for this company. There were two other companies in the plaza and when I asked them, neither had heard of this company. A little concerning.... I tried calling the number provided on the confirmation but there was no answer. I started a chat with booking company to let them know we were having trouble making contact with the tour guide/company and while on hold, our tour guide found us. Great, now the tour can begin! We were told we were the only ones booked for the day, so instead of the company providing a car we would be taking a taxi. We then waited almost 30 minutes for the driver to show up. Ok great, NOW the tour can begin! We arrived at Devin Castle and as we're pulling in the guide says it's closed on Mondays. As in that very day. We were able to walk around the perimeter of the castle but not up to the top. It was still a nice site to see and we learned a lot about the history and the area, but it's rather disappointing that they allowed a booking for a day when they knew the location was not fully accessible. As for the wine tasting, it was two (generous) glasses of the same wine. Not exactly the wine tasting experience we were expecting but the currant wine was something new we never had before. When it was time for us to be picked up, the taxi driver went to the wrong location and we waited around for him to find the right place while our tour guide argued on the phone about who was where and who wasn't. Due to the way the day had gone, our guide took us to Bratislava Castle for a quick tour. We really appreciated the gesture and the extra stop. Technically her part was done but she went above and beyond to enhance our day in the city. Like I said at the beginning of this review, our guide was wonderful and we didn't fault her for the messiness of the day. She was a wealth of information and shared her own personal experiences with us. We really appreciated her time.
