If your selected package includes a visit to the Forbidden City, we require the full name and passport number of every traveler. The information provided must exactly match the details on the valid ID document presented for entry on the tour day.
Advanced reservation is mandatory for any tour package that covers Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Both sites have strict advance booking and ticketing requirements, which apply to all visitors including professional tour guides.
The Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven are closed every Monday. All other attractions included in our packages are open year-round without interruption.

The specific packages are listed as follows: Option 1: Dim Sum+Tiananmen Square&Forbidden City Walking Tour (Transportation at Your Own Expense; 4-5 Hours tour; Forbidden City Closed on Mondays) Option 2: Dim Sum+Tiananmen Square&Forbidden City Tour (4-5 Hours tour, Including Round-Trip Private Transfer); Option 3: Dim Sum+Customized Tour of downtown sites (6-Hour tour, Optional Spots: Temple of Heaven/Summer Palace/Lama Temple, etc) Option 4: Dim Sum+Great Wall Tour (Mutianyu or Badaling Great Wall, 6 Hour Tour); Option 5: Dim Sum+Great Wall+City Sites Combined Tour (8-Hour Itinerary) All tickets are included in the packages, so you just need to arrive and enjoy the trip. The Palace Museum
Option 1: Dim Sum+Tiananmen Square&Forbidden City Walking Tour (Transportation at Your Own Cost) Meet your guide in the lobby of your downtown hotel, travel to the restaurant to savor an authentic dim sum breakfast. After the meal, explore Tiananmen Square first, then walk into the Palace Museum for an immersive visit. Note: During peak seasons, Tiananmen Square may have waiting lines of 1–3 hours—we recommend skipping it if you wish to save time for the Palace Museum. A professional guide will accompany you, sharing fascinating stories behind the iconic royal architecture to deepen your understanding of its history&culture. Total duration approx 4–5 hours. The tour concludes after the Palace Museum visit, and you can arrange your follow-up activities at your own discretion. Option 2: Dim Sum+Tiananmen Square&Forbidden City Tour with Round-Trip Hotel Transfers This package follows the exact same itinerary as Option 1 with the key addition of complimentary round-trip hotel transfers.

5.00Lucy Yue was so friendly and knowledgeable. She took us to an excellent dim sum restaurant before a wonderful walking tour of the Lama and Confucius temples. Plus she taught us how to use the metro and how to use alipay! Thank you Lucy Yue!

4.00Prompt pick up at our hotel with a very nice minivan and excellent driver. Our guide was very sweet and answered all our questions, but sometimes the answers were a little difficult to follow. The Dim Sum breakfast was very tasty, and the Lamastery was interesting, and our guide tried to explain to us what each individual area meant, and showed us how to light the incense and say a prayer to the Buddhas. We definitely recommend the tour, but comparing it to the tour we had later that day which was a foodie tour through the Houtongs we can only give this one a 4 star rating. It was "very good" but not excellent.

5.00Our family loves to enjoy local food during our family vacations so this tour caught my eye because it stated that it starts with a Dim Sum breakfast. Yummy!!! So we looked forward to it with high anticipation. We were not disappointed at all on the contrary we had a great day with Lucy. Breakfast choice was really nice and abundant. Lucy is a very competent guide and gave us a lot of insides at every stop of the tour. She took a lot of pictures of us at all the stops (we asked her, as we love to have those memories). The heat and humidity were incredible, but Lucy made the day go fast and interesting. At the end she was very kind to get us a taxi to the Drum Tower and select a fantastic local lunch restaurant for us. We learned about the DiDi app...the Uber of China. What a save! We loved our day with Lucy and we highly recommend her. She’s very easy to interface with because her English is very good and she is very knowledgeable. Great cultural tour if you want to understand a bit more of the complicated Chinese history beyond the classic touristy areas of Beijing!

5.00We had an amazing tour of the Confucius Temple and Lama Temple, starting with breakfast of dumplings. Our guide, Jing, was the best we could ask for! She was so knowledgeable and gracious. This was perfect for our family.

5.00The ultimate tour if you love food, and are intrigued by China's history. I met my tour guide (Linda) in the lobby of my hotel (only if your hotel in inside 3rd Ring Rd), then we headed out to the Dim Sum restaurant for a nice breakfast. On the way to the restaurant Linda was pleasantly surprised to find out that I love spicy food and that I don't have food allergies. When we arrived at the restaurant Linda ordered me a variety of wonderful treats (chicken feet, sichuan dumplings, rice porridge, sichuan noodles, and steam buns). I enjoyed my food as we discussed the differences between Eastern and Western cuisine. After eating my fill we then began the tours of the Confucius Temple and the Lama Temple. Linda's knowledge of each temple was amazing, and I learned so many interesting things about China's history. If I am ever given the opportunity to return to Beijing I will definitely be taking this tour again!

5.00This a must in Beijing. Our tour guide Linda was very good. She made sure we had a great trip. She is very knowledgeable. She made sure we got the best Dim Sum. Since we wanted vegetarian ones. She txted is the day before and made sure we meet at the correct location and time. It was very cold that day in Beijing. My younger daughter did not wear the appropriate clothes. Linda was ready to give her jacket! We were very touched. I recommend this tour to any one visiting Beijing.

5.00Our tour guide Linda, with Unique Beijing Tours, was the very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. She speaks English well and treated us like old-friends. She even texted us after the tour to make sure we reached our hotel and did not overpay for the taxi. We had such a wonderful experience at dim sum and the Lama Temple that we promptly booked another tour of the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square with her.
