  Beautiful cruise, great dinner, top staff. Very helpful. Our waiter was really nice. Along the way you can admire many monuments but of course the most beautiful is the parliament. I recommend it.

  Me and my wife booked this cruise hoping for a lovely romantic evening on the river together. The pictures showed wonderful food and a small top deck with only window seats. This is NOT accurate. We were positioned in the center of the room, with a 30cm gap between a table each side of us. It was very claustrophobic and we were far from the windows, which was the main reason we booked the cruise (to see the wonderful view of Budapest at night). For £145+, this was a major let down. Then the menu arrived. My wife is lactose intolerant and there is no mention of lactose on the menu, which is fine. We are always happy to work around what the chefs can do. When we told the waiter, he looked disappointed and hurried off to the kitchen. He returned with confusing answers that didn't fill us with confidence, and told us that he was now behind and stressed as a result of us asking this question. Our starters arrived. My wife had a chicken dumpling soup which was very bland. I had a plum soup which was extremely sweet and inedible. Next was the mains. I paid extra to have some fish on my gnocchi. The cod was definitely not fresh, and the gnocchi was cold and unseasoned. My wife had a pork chop absolutely covered in mustard, and the potatoes were missing. Dessert, my wife had a chocolate avocado moose and I had what was supposed to be tirimasu but instead looked like four lumps of sick on my plate, again inedible. When I said I was not comfortable paying for my dessert (which cost extra), the waiter said that he would have to pay cash out of his own money if we didn't pay! A huge guilt trip. Clearly I didnt want him to pay for it, I just didn't feel that it was worth paying for given that I had one bite and couldnt stomach the rest. See the photo attached. We are not your classic entitled tourists at all, I work in the service industry myself and understand the challenges of running kitchens and restaurants, but for the money we paid we were thoroughly disappointed on all fronts and would never recommend this to anyone until they fix the food, are upfront with the seating you will receive and train the waiting staff to not guilt trip customers and to solve queries promptly without passing blame to paying customers. I have requested a 50% refund as we did eat some of the food, and managed to enjoy a nice moment on the deck of the ship, but have had no response as of writing.

  What a pleasant cruise, we had an amazing time in the company of pianists and onboard staff. Everything is u long our pleasant cruise , we were accompanied by Renata, smiling , with little care and kindness . Nice evening with my family. To be done again as soon as possible.

  Friendly staff, good piano music with good singer in the end but the eating left a lot to be desired. Also the table upgrade from a seat in the middle of the boat to the window was offered to us for 50 euros. A little too much....

  Very good and attentive staff. Easy boarding and good seats. We paid extra for the window seating and were in the upstairs area. Smaller numbers and better views. Gentle trip though a commentary about the sights would have added hugely to the evening. Food was tasty, soup good but unfortunately main courses were quite tepid /cool. A good though small selection of wines. The house ref was very acceptable. Close to tram stop so convenient Március 15 and well signposted. Sadly for us the good let it down
