Skanderbeg Square

Depend of flight arrival, please to sent all inforamtion in advance. Kruja Castle

Continue toward Kruja, the medieval capital of Albania. Driving to Kruja will long 1 hour, if we are on a lucky day. Here we will visit the only Ottoman bazaar left from the ottoman Empire. Visit of Skanderbeg Museum!

Rozafa Castle

After Kruja tour we will visit the biggest lake not only in Balkans but in all Southern Europe “Shkodra’s lake” (bordering Albania and Montenegro). There we will fish for a hole hour in the lake and spend sometimes in the beautiful village of Shirok. Accomodation in Shkoder city! Dinner in hotel or in a local restaurant

Durres

After breakfast depart toward the city port of Durres (facing the Adriatic coast), one of the oldest documented cites in Albania, during the Illyrian period almost 2700 years ago (627 B.C). There we will visit the city center, Roman Amphitheater, old Byzantium walls and the Venetian Tower. Lunch will be served in a very beautiful restaurant sea view (we suggest fish menu here)/ optional not included , our guide will suggest you the best.

Divjake

Later continue toward Divjake-Karavasta national park. The park spans a territory of 222.3 square kilometers (22,230 ha) containing remarkable features such as wetlands, salt marshes, coastal meadows, floodplains, woodlands, reed beds, forests and estuaries. Because of the park's important and great availability of bird and plant species, it has been identified as an important Bird and Plant Area of international importance. Activities in Divjaka: Boat tour/Trekking/bird watching/nature exploring

Berat

In afternoon drive to Berat city tour . Than continue with the tour of the city. Visit the old town inside the castle with its amazing “Onufri” museum, one of the most beautiful museums of Icons in Balkans. We will also visit the lower part of the town such as the area of Mangalem (another area under UNESCO protection). After the tour accomodation in Berat. Dinner in Hotel or in a local restraurant

National Park Mount Tomori

Mount Tomorri is located in southern Albania, with an elevation of 2417 meters, and has undoubtedly a special place in every Albanians heart. It is not a coincidence that this is one of the Best Tours in Albania!

Gjirokaster

After breakfast continue toward Gjirokastra. Another city under UNESCO protection, also known as the “Stone City” or the small gem of Albania. On the way we will pass through the region of Tepelena and sea some beautiful springs. In Gjirokastra we will visit one very unique house owned by the “Skenduli” family. The house was built in the 18th century, during the time period of the Ottoman Empire. One of the family members will show us the house and talk about their traditions. Lunch we suggest in a local family for a unique experince. They are going to cook only traditional food for us. It will be an amazing experience. Overnight in a traditional guest house inside the area under UNESCO protection in Gjirokastra.

Saranda

After breakfast depart toward the Bule Eye spring, one of the biggest Spring we have in South Albania, a monument of nature visited by the hundreds of thousands of tourists each year.

Butrint National Park

Than continue toward the national park of Butrinti to visit the archeological site which is found inside the unique park. Butrinti is under UNESCO protection and it’s also one of the biggest archeological parks to be found in Balkans. Optional: “Mussel tour” with lunch included .

Llogara National Park

Later we will continue through the Albanian Riviera (Ionian coast) passing through very unique and beautiful landscapes. We will make some panoramic stops and one of them will be inside the national park of Llogara, more than 1000m above sea level. Vlora dates back to the 6th century B.C., when it was known as Aulona. Today most interesting sights in Vlora include the Independence Museum (in the headquarters building of the first government), the History Museum, and the Ethnographic Museum. Among the religious objects in Vlora, the most important is the Mosque of Muradie, built in 1542 by the chief architect of the Ottoman Empire, Mimar Sinan, the constructor of the famous Suleymaniye Mosque, Istambul. Also, a prominent hill above the city is home to the Bektashi Tekke of Kuzum Babai. The site offers an amazing view of the city of Vlora, the peninsula of Karaburun, the island of Sazan, and the lagoon of Narta. Accomodation will be in Tirana city .
