  Starting from the ferry riding and then walking around the historic area, our guide Dan gave us lots of information on the history of Bergen and the architecture of the era. If you spend only one or two days in Bergen, this tour is a must.

  Ani was an incredible guide, cannot recommend him enough! He was very accommodating and tailored the tour perfectly for my boyfriend and I. We did the two hour tour and it was a wonderful taste of Bergen with tons of information. Because of Ani we will definitely be back to Bergen, a beautiful city.

  The experience was amazing. Ani (I might have misspelled his name) did such an amazing job. He is a wealth of knowledge and the way he told the history and everything was absolutely great. I learnt so much. This is not one of those boring tours where someone just tells the history. It was interactive, this is a must do if you are in Bergen. I was so lucky to be the only person for the evening tour and Ani took me everywhere, still explained everything in detail and even offered to take pictures. Great experience !

  What an absolute find! I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Don was my guide and he took me on a wonderful story telling journey throughout the streets of Bergen. Amazingly he also managed to tailor some of the tour to my interests. The ferry ride was an added bonus as was the helpful handout listing some interesting facts about Bergen. Don answered all my questions with enthusiasm and went above and beyond to ensure I had a wonderful time and I most certainly did1 Thanks so much Don!

• Good Listening Skills Are Essential

  The guide was knowledgable both as to the history and what living in Bergen today is like. He was a likable fellow, and eager to help in any way he could. However, the Indian accent made understanding a bit difficult at times. During my working years, I had frequent contact with people from India and traveled there several times. Even with this experience, I struggled a bit. My wife said she only gleaned about 60% of what was said.
