The Santa Monica donut tour is our first foray into sunny Southern California. This tour celebrates all things donuts, sunshine, and beachfront fun. Our tour begins at a California institution, Randy’s Donuts. You may know Randy’s from their many appearances across TV, movies, and music videos, specifically for their iconic giant donut. After we’ve tried some of their amazing classics, we’ll move on to our next location, Sidecar Doughnuts. If you are looking for amazing, artisanal donuts - you’ve come to the right place. Our third location is a slightly unexpected stop, but still quintessentially California for churros. And our last stop may change based on the group or the weather, so we won’t ruin the surprise, but the two options we’ve picked out are both equally fantastic.

5.00This was such fantastic afternoon exploring delicious donut shops in Santa Monica with our guide, Chad! Chad made the experience complete with his fun stories about the history behind each of the local donut and other tasty stops we visited. He is personable, friendly and knowledgeable! Chad took the time to get to know us as well as share fun tidbits about his life. Best of all, we loved walking around beautiful Santa Monica and eating delicious donuts and other treats with a great tour guide! My husband and I would highly recommend this tour!

5.00We did the Santa Monica tour and had a great time. Our guide was Chad and he was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable the whole time. He even knew our kids names before we showed up, and he was fine with having our tour in the rain, which was great. I was very impressed by how expertly and cleanly he split up the donuts for us to try. He wore gloves, brought a towel and a cutting board to keep everything nice. I was very impressed. My only slight critiques are that only two of the four stops on the tour are donut places. The other two were churros and ice cream. It's more of a Santa Monica Sweets Tour. If you're a real donut purist then keep that in mind. Also, I was doing some math in my head and the cost of the food that was purchased for us was maybe about 25% of our tour cost, so you're definitely not getting a lot of bang for your buck, food-wise. The website says you can ask for more donuts, if you want, but it never really felt like that was an option. It's certainly not an "all-you-can-eat donuts" experience. If you're hoping to go on this tour and stuff your face with donuts, that's not really the vibe. If you're cool with walking around a cool city, sampling some yummy sweets, while hearing fun facts from a great tour guide, this is the tour for you!

5.00This was such a fun and delicious tour! I took my daughter as part of her Christmas gift and our guide Chad did not disappoint! He shared so much knowledge: the history of the restaurants, how they craft their donuts, which donuts to try. He even shared some facts about the city of Santa Monica and how the donut tour was created. Wish I could give him more stars. The donuts were literally the best I’ve had in my 50 years. 😂 Book this delightful tour. You won’t regret it. Thanks again, Chad!

5.00We have done multiple donut tours and this one was one of the best! We had some of the best donuts we have ever had in the country and our tour guide, Chad, was awesome. He was so knowledgeable and friendly. We really enjoyed it!

5.00The tour with Charity was such an amazing experience! She is a really lovely and caring person and made the tour super fun for us! All the food spots were delicious and are a must for everyone who have a sweet tooth. I totally recommend this tour.
