  Amazing experience would highly recommend this experience to other people visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina as it was definitely my favourite day and till this day I constantly remember and love this tour. Unreal views and very informative of the history of this beautiful country.

  Amazing tour. Tour guide was a war survivor and had interesting stories to tell. Shared fruit and Bosnian music during the ride. Also recommended best places to eat traditional food and sunset spots.

  The tour with Esmer was absolutely incredible. I hardly ever book these type of tours, but we were only in Mostar for two full days and wanted to learn as much as possible. It was the best decision. Esmer had so much information about the region and it's history including the horrible period of the war. The sites we visited were beautiful and there was plenty of time for everything. It never felt rushed or dragging on. My husband and I learned so much, it took awhile to really process it afterward.   The trip was fun and exciting. Our guide Mirza is full of knowledge but gotta tone down the sarcasm a bit haha he was able to provide a lot of the past and present informations at each places we went. Overall 8.5/10

  We had an amazing day with Esmer. The tour was exactly as described in the listing, but his energy, enthusiasm, and willingness to share his own experiences put this tour at the top of the many we’ve taken. We learned so much, from what life was like during the war to how relations are between countries now to flora and fauna to local customs and traditions. We considered doing these sights ourselves as we had a rental car but seeing them with a guide and learning along the way really enhanced our trip. Highly recommend!

  Esmer is a wonderful tour guide - he made sure all of us were very comfortable, and there was no shortage of information about Mostar, its geography, culture, people, and even showed us how to drink Bosnian coffee like a local. Would encourage anyone visiting Mostar to take this tour as a truly unique way to learn about the city and the surrounding hidden gems!

  We had an amazing time exploring Mostar, even though the weather wasn’t great at the start of the day. Our tour guide and driver, Mierza, was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail at each location — from the art and culture to the history of Herzegovina. He even shared some oranges with us! It was truly a day well spent.

  This tour went to a diverse number of attractions, waterfalls, lookouts,temples. The length of drive between attractions is always less than an hour and the guide was knowledgeable and interesting. I would strongly recommend this tour if you have a spare day in Mostar as trying to reach these places by public transport would be time consuming if not impossible.

  What an amazing day this was. Worth every penny and more. Our tour guide Esmer was warm, funny, incredibly informative and easy to listen to. As a very young child when the early 90s Balkan war broke out, he managed to give us a very balanced overview of the war and how it specifically affected Mostar, his home town, without ever lapsing into blame or side-taking or bitterness. This was not a war tour per se, it was about celebrating the spectacular beauty of the Herzegovina region of B&H. However, having someone to explain the history of the area from Ottoman and Venetian, then Astro-Hungarian colonial rule and latterly the breakdown of communist Yugoslavia and everything that has happened since added fascinating and really useful context to the whole day. The minibus was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The driver was safe and sensible. The roads were in excellent condition. The scenery was spectacular at every place we stopped. It was October so we had bright blue skies, pleasantly warm weather and beautiful autumn foliage everywhere. The tour was just the right length, a full day but not overly tiring or long. You will need a jacket though, it’s fresh up in the mountains. And wear sensible shoes. Mostar is a small city and it’s easy to see everything in a day or two, so even if you only have two or three days there. MAKE SURE you put a day aside to do this trip. It would be a crime not to. We considered hiring a car and doing the trip ourselves but I’m so glad we didn’t. Having Esmer there to provide such interesting and often numerous commentary really made all the difference.
